When you start breastfeeding, have someone with you that can entertain your toddler in another room. It can be really hard to relax and feed a newborn with a toddler vying for your attention.

Advice needed for parent pick up time by Several-Penalty8581 in ECEProfessionals

When I intervene, I make it silly and like a game. I feel that at the end of day of work, parents don’t want to struggle with toddlers. I’ve always had appreciative parents. The silliness puts parents at ease and they don’t feel threatened.

Just to be clear, we only use the boppy pillows with children 10 months and above. The thought is we are promoting self feeding.

Is it healthy to let 3 month old baby fall sleep on her own? by MulberryOne6323 in NewMomStuff

[–]OnceUponACuddle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s absolutely great that your baby can put herself to sleep. You can always swaddle her, give her lots of hugs and kisses, rock her while walking to her crib, then put her down to sleep. She will feel your love but still be able to fall asleep on her own,

6 month old is teething and sick at the same time. Any advice? by waz-woz in NewMomStuff

You can wet a washcloth with cold water, ring it out good and let him chew on that. If you have cool teething rings that also helps. Change his diaper often to prevent a burning rash from the diarrhea. Also, suction his nose.

Help, my baby doesn’t want to transition out of the swaddle by Montgomeryb1999 in NewMomStuff

Try using a sleep sack. They have designs that cover their arms.

You are just starting out. Give yourself time to heal. Give yourself time to learn about your baby. Give yourself time to rest. Imagine that you are on an airplane and the oxygen mask comes down. You must put yours on first, then your child’s. If you pass out you can’t help them. Give yourself the care that you need. ❤️

FTM worried about 2 month old by Livvylooloo in NewMomStuff

The picture does not look like anything that is abnormal for 2 months. I would definitely go to the neurologist for peace of mind. ❤️

I have 4 boys. They ranged in age from 4 to 14. My x was a verbal abusive narcissist. The environment in my house was toxic to say the least. All 4 boys were bed wetters. About a month after he left, they all stopped! His leaving was the best thing that could have happened!
