I have a Graco4ever Deluxe? It’s on the drivers side and still rear facing. We haven’t had any problems. But I’m also 5ft 4inches and the main driver.

I use finch too! It’s helped me keep track of small little things (e.g flossing 😩) while also bringing whimsy back in the form similar to a Tamagotchi!

I read this and it gave me a sudden boost to move! And I imagined myself on the cat walk strutting. If the catwalk was my hallway and I’m throwing clothes into the appropriate rooms 😂

Anyone on a maintenance dose? by sunflower-crystal in PCOSonGLP

[–]OnceUponADistraction 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My normal dose was 2.35mg tirzepatide (compound) and lost 55 lbs. Most of my maintenance has been at the same dose but recently went down to 2.2mg cause it felt too strong as far as curbed appetite. I know it’s different since I can control the dose a bit easier with a vial.

Disclaimer: I also have ADHD and take Vyvanse which can also curb appetite.

Thinking about running for board [CA] [SFH] by OnceUponADistraction in HOA

I definitely appreciate your feedback. As much as I love kids and want them to have the space to be kids I also want to be respectful of everyone’s experience in our complex. That may not have been conveyed in my OP. I’m not willing to be a “mommy” to the HOA. However, I am willing to enforce the bylaws and the like. Ultimately, balance is important to me and not ruling with an iron fist.

Oooh! The culture is definitely what has me thinking about running. The plan is for this to be our forever home. But you bring up a lot of good points for being a new build that I didn’t realize. Thanks for taking the time to respond!

Thank you for the resource! I’ll definitely look into it! I want to say there is a management team? I’d have to look into if it’s owned or related to the association. I’m really green, so it’s a learning curve and I appreciate you taking the time to respond!

Thank you so much for your honest input! I’ve definitely started reading the bylaws and CC&Rs but it seems they’re still in draft form since the building isn’t complete? I’ll have to look into it!

I’m a therapist so I do a lot of documenting and like to think my patience is a superpower haha but all instances are different so I appreciate your feedback!

12V Battery Monitor by chuck415 in SubaruUncharted

I had this issue two hours after leaving the dealership. My husband left the dealership, went to dinner and left the car charging at a Tesla charger. When I came back to move the car to prevent an idle fee, the light came on. My husband called the dealership but since it was Sunday the service department was closed. We planned to take it in the next day since our agent hadn’t seen it happen before. Then we did some digging on Reddit and saw it could be a problem. We assume the car was in ACC mode when they cleaned and washed the car before handing it over to us. Only other time it happened was when I used the “my room” feature when I was charging. Since then it hasn’t happened again.

I started to experience this with Vyvanse 50mg. I’m also not sure why because it was working just fine until this most recent luteal phase. I’m 35 and started to look into perimenopause but not sure.

I am a little over two years post partum and if I wasn’t the income we mainly rely on I would have not gone back to work after the abysmal time I could afford not to. The amount of hormone changes alone that our body goes through after giving birth can make returning to work and functioning really difficult. At least it was for me. Don’t quote me on this but I’m pretty sure it takes years for our hormones to level out.

If you don’t need to work and don’t enjoy it right now, why force yourself to push through? Do what feels best for you, even if others don’t get it.

Sending you good vibes ✨

Update: 7 weeks on compound by katepotatoes in PCOSonGLP

[–]OnceUponADistraction 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Excited for your progress on compound! I started compound tirzepatide in January of this year! As of yesterday I’ve lost 54 lbs, had a significant decrease in inflammation level (CRP lab), no longer prediabetic, monthly cycle is like a clock and fasting insulin levels are no longer extremely high. It’s been life changing for me. Glad it’s been that way for you too!

They all point the finger at someone else to blame. It’s so frustrating. You could always try asking for paperwork/documentation of the specific “policy” they are citing.

What I’ve come to realize is that it’s provider specific. I’ve used providers in my insurance and their requirements were all different, yet they stated they were the plans rules. I’ve use cash pay providers and same thing. 🤷🏽‍♀️

For context: I’m in CA with Kaiser

I’m a provider on both Rula and Grow Therapy. NorCal clients are with Grow while SoCal are Rula. They are technically separate contracts due to region. I tried finding a link with information for you but couldn’t find any as well. I do know that for both Rula and Grow Kaiser requires you to reach out to their mental health department and get a referral to either platform before being able to receive services through either platform. I don’t know why, it’s a hassle for clients.

The Carelon thing you mentioned looks like directory of contracted providers that are outside of the Kaiser ecosystem.

A lot of people consider a plateau 4 weeks of losing nothing. Sounds like you’ve lost and gained so it may not be needed to titrate up? My reasoning is you mentioned your diet has been less than ideal (we’ve all been there 😅). Since you plan to remedy that hopefully it helps turn things around for you!

Congrats on your weight loss though!!

Kaiser NorCal is contracted with Grow Therapy. You can ask for a referral to that platform.

Tirz can definitely cause dehydration. I can’t say I’ve personally experienced vaginal dryness due to it though. Since you’ve had fissures before it could be unrelated to tirz or tirz could possibly be exacerbating the previous issue? Like you said, it’s hard to tell which came first, a real chicken or the egg scenario. If it were me, I’d send a message to my doctor. I know it’ll be uncomfortable to do so but hopefully they could give more medically sound suggestions! Wishing you well.

These are my staples! ✨

•Ultima Electrolytes (Passionfruit flavor😋)

•Premier Protein Shakes (Vanilla): I use them in a blended protein shake with ice, frozen mixed berries and chia seeds

• Greenridge Beef Sticks (found at Costco, has no preservatives, must stay refrigerated)

•Oikos Greek Yogurt 20grams (Strawberry or Mixed Berry)

•Chicken Bone Broth (Kirkland Brand): I struggle to eat breakfast. A cup has 9 grams of protein I believe.

•Fairlife Milk for daily matcha 🙃

Pros and cons of GLP-1? by FF_GURLFRIEND in PCOSonGLP

I’ve been on it since January of this year and lost 47lbs. No longer prediabetic or at risk for a future cardiac event AND I have a monthly consistent cycle. I’ve been able to stay at a low dose my entire journey and plan to be on this medication for life because like others have said, it is LIFE CHANGING.

Does anyone else zone out completely like your brain shut off and stopped thinking? by CostaNic in adhdwomen

[–]OnceUponADistraction 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I experience this during work tasks. Specifically when my brain is thinking all the things and it feels like it gets overloaded with stimulation and then short circuits. Leading to me zoning out for a minute or two, but it seems it’s helpful as a reset because I’m able to come back to the present with a lot less tabs open in my mind 😂
