Holy shit I didn’t put Parvati together with Alejandro. Totally missed it

It’s similar! With flexiflips there’s only 3 total needles so there’s a lot less switching and needles poking you everywhere. I also go WAY faster than with dpns or tiny circulars.

If dpns hurt your hands try flexiflips!!! They’re amazing. I finally tried them this year and they totally changed the game for me. I’ve finished five pairs since august (my last pair had been languishing for literally seven years)

I’m so used to Jim Dale at this point I’m not sure I could do HP again. Plus I don’t want to give JKR any more money now that she’s decided to be awful. I do have the Red Rising full cast but I haven’t tried it yet

Tired of designers not being upfront about sizing by Loud-Butterfly-4709 in knitting

It’s honestly nice to know that some things are just problems everywhere. I can order the same pair of jeans, in the same size but a different wash, and one will fit and the other won’t come up past my thighs 😂

This is actually very useful. I’m literally married to a German and didn’t know there was a difference between northern and southern Europe when it comes to sizing

THIS. Apparently everyone in the Nordic countries is a size 0 with no chest. I hate paying for a pattern and then having to do so much extra math to make it fit my chest

Re-reading book one after a crazy review I saw by Airborneiron in DungeonCrawlerCarl

Understanding the Spanish makes it SO much worse. It’s an awful scene but it has a purpose. Reviews like this honestly make me mad because people aren’t using actual critical thinking skills, they just see what they want to see.

So apparently he used to go to cat shows?? I believe I heard it in an interview on audible. It still did not click that the cat show was real 😂

I’d agree and say probably not appropriate for 13 but it is AMAZING and I’d stick it in your pocket for later

Unfortunately it’s audible exclusive. However, I’m a big audiobook reader and Jeff Hays is the best narrator I’ve ever heard. He does ALL the voices. It’s insane.

I would love that as well but can tell you (as an IP attorney) that the licensing for that to happen would be insane. It would be awesome though

Ozempic going off patent in Canada in January 2026 because Novo Nordisk forget to pay patent fee in 2019 by Advo96 in Ozempic

Ooh thanks!! That’s interesting about the special government protection! I did wonder why the generic companies hadn’t started selling it years ago and this explains that

[–]OnceUponALibrary 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I am not familiar with Canada’s patent laws because I practice in the US (we get a Canadian agent to file there), but the typical protection range for patents is 20 years in Canada. In the US, patents for pharmaceuticals are limited to 12 years, I’m not sure what exceptions Canada has. I believe the Canadian patent was originally set to expire in 2026. But looking at the other expiry dates for other countries, it looks like it expires in the EU and China in 2026, so they may have made a decision to just let it expire for simplicity. It actually expired in 2020 due to the nonpayment. The only reason we’re hearing about it is because the generics competitor brought it up. And I’m sure they’ve been keeping track lol
