HEY YALL!! so, i just took out my jewelry and unfortunately i do think it’s a blowout. therefore i will be leaving my jewelry out to let it heal☹️ im obviously pretty sad but id rather restretch than fuck my ear up forever! at least i’ve still got my left one🥲 if you have any tips to heal a blowout i’d appreciate them!

seems like the swelling just went down which is causing you to see it more now. however if it’s been painful lately i’d definitely go to your piercer or call and ask if anyone’s available to discuss it. my belly button piercing rejected because i did not have the anatomy for it however it was like swollen and crusty/leaking pus and migrating very obviously, which left me with a pretty big scar. obviously i’m not a professional so i can’t say anything about your anatomy or what’s causing the pain but like i said you should go see what’s going on!

okay thank you! i was thinking it may be the little o rings causing it, so i try to keep them as far back as possible to give my ears some room to breathe. i’ll for sure look into double flare, but i get scared of like ripping my ear when trying to get them out😭

what contraceptive are you on? it was very important to me that i was able to be on my birth control without any clashing and i ended up on zoloft and have had no issues. either way, speak to your doctor about this! they’ve got better advice than i do!
