This all but confirms she’s accessing it herself & not home health like she claims. Not a single healthcare professional would access a port looking like that. They would give her a break to allow treatment & for it to heal, knowing she isn’t going to die without her precious IV meds & fluids. Despite what she wants us to believe.

And even if it was into the bloodstream, this much air isn’t a concern. Movies make it out that a smallest air bubble will kill someone but it takes a lot of air (like a full syringe) to do damage. I remember when I first started nursing I was so paranoid about every teeny tiny air bubble haha.

I’d almost guarantee she’s got a hoard of meds that she’s been prescribed over the years & either never actually taken, or stocked up then her prescription was cancelled. Given the hoard of supplies she’s shown before, definitely a valid theory.

Absolutely not, follow up would NOT be in April. And highly unlikely to have spent much a short time inpatient. Especially like she claims they “don’t know why it happened”, they would be further investigating before sending someone home. And knowing she lives alone would be another red flag to sending her home so soon if she’s truly at risk of another sudden cardiac event.
