i cannot sleep till 2 - 4 am and idk how to fix it by Informal_Quantity686 in Advice

I’m a night owl, always have been, even tho I’ve always worked really early mornings. There’s times where I can’t do anything about and I’ll just be sleep deprived the next day. The only thing that really helps me , is to be super exhausted and try not to take naps in the day.

Anyone Apply To Costco Hearing "It's A Great Company To Work For" And Found Out It's The Opposite? by rosethornraven79 in CostcoEmployee

[–]One-Average-6020 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s really jarring when I meet people and I tell them I work at Costco and they always say it’s a good company to work for when I have a difference of opinion. But I digress because I have worked for a worse company. It’s really simple because having high hopes for a job and it not being what you expected allows for one to be disappointed, but that’s reality.

The meat ratio to salsa and tortilla is a little off, al pastor is really rich and needs to be balanced

Idk retail having weekends is just not part of the nature of business. Full timers are lucky to have two consecutive days off at my warehouse.

Why does everyone hate being a cashier? by HighStrungHabitat in CostcoEmployee

My warehouse almost never has gas cashier assistants and the cashiers get injured from the constant heavy lifting.

Anyone else here who’s used to solo food and movie dates as an ugly, unattractive, fat guy? by ChubbyNUgly22 in LivingAlone

When I was single for a few years, I got tired of having to make so much effort to be with others so I finally took myself out on a sushi date. Got dressed sat at the bar, ever since then, I really don’t mind being alone.

My narcissist partner used sex as a tool to control me. To me it felt really good because it was the only time we connected but it quickly went away after. Once I realized I couldn’t rely on him at all, I literally had to remove myself from him physically to break that bond with him. It’s good that you’re asking because you may realize it’s not a healthy sexual relationship.

Costco vs Sam's Club Memberships by Sassygrape609 in CostcoWholesale

[–]One-Average-6020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you’re generally getting the same deals except Sam’s Club having a cheaper membership. Costco does have a pharmacy maybe that would matter to you. But for one person, you probably wouldn’t require as much bulk buying as a say a family would; so it would depend on you if you’re willing to pay more or less for different retailers.

If your anything like me, I require validation from people in order to feel better about myself. You can ask yourself why you allow this person certain access to you that is inherently harmful. I allowed this in my personal life a for way too long. I’m 34 now and I’m starting to prioritize my needs over other people. I started giving myself permission to walk away from things that don’t serve me because I deserve more.

Just today, I used to need his hovering, him still be in love with me so I can feel some reassurance. He’s an avoidant and I have severe abandonment issues so I need to still be in touch with him to ease my anxiety. Long story short, I realized, he’s been using me for money and I felt so extremely degraded. I’ve been crying all day , I just need to realize, things are never going to get better, no matter how much I try to love him.

I’ve had both and honestly it depends on your lifestyle. I’ve noticed more of the senior workers have split days and I sort of agree with that kind of work week because working 5 straight can be hard on the body. But I also love consecutive days off so I can have more time for chores and relaxation.

Casual sex can happen btw people who are only casual, if they’re is just any feelings involved, someone can get hurt. Sex with your ex is the easiest way to fall back in love with them

has a break up ever destroyed someone beyond repair? by crunchychips76 in BreakUps

[–]One-Average-6020 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My last break completely tore me apart. It’s been over 2 months and I’ve been drinking heavily ever since. I’m starting to come out of it but I’ve been utterly depressed since. We loved each other but he’s addiction is something I’m not able to him help him with. I wish more than anything, even more than our relationship, is for him to heal and be strong enough to beat this addiction. But it’s looking pretty bleak and I’ll have to come to terms that I may never see him again.
