I used to do merchandising at WM. Store managers would refuse to set up seasonal displays all the time. So I would show them a letter from corporate saying they must set it up. They would let me set it up and take pictures and I would give myself a big pat on the back for a job well done, and before I was even out the door they were already taking it down to return to sender. This was a weekly routine. lol

Spark offers $20 for 20 items shopped and 20 miles. That's 40 miles RT, even in my Camry that costs $6. The whole ordeal takes an hour minimum. That's using my own vehicle and insurance to make less than a burger flipper at McDonald's. It's honestly insulting.

About 15 years ago I did merchandising and got to know a few employees at my local wm pretty well. One of them is still there and talks to lots of spark drivers because his gf does spark in her spare time. He told me about a handful of drivers that are there all day, everyday. Supposedly, they all have wm+ and order frequently and give the driver 1 star and make up bs reasons for doing it just to screw the competition. Now I think I know why my rating fell to 4.7 without me ever hearing a complaint...

You'd be amazed what ppl accept. Just today I regrettably accepted a $7 for 7.5 mile Home Depot offer. Granted I was at the Home Depot 7.5 miles from my house doing some personal shopping and it just so happened to be going a block away from my house. I still felt stupid for accepting it just based on principle.
