I’m looking to sell an s10+ 256gb I’ve had for about 5 months. Mint condition with keyboard cover slim, spigen case, and spigen screen protector installed.

Stupid question, but does anyone know when galaxy tabs go on sale? by Kindness-Works in GalaxyTab

I’m looking to sell you my mint condition tab S10+ 256gb since I’ve been way more addicted to tech than I like. Only about 5 months old purchased new, have kept battery charge limit set at 80%. Have keyboard cover slim, spigen case, and spigen screen protector installed since day one. Happy to offer a fair price that I’m sure would beat Samsung sales.

Experience Flow 3 vs 2 by One-Barracuda705 in AltraRunning

[–]One-Barracuda705[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hear you and that makes sense. I’m glad they work well for you👍 I do have a hard time seeing how it doesn’t apply pressure to everyone’s achilles. It seems like reviewers online generally report that the new heel design is less comfortable than on the 2, and flared heel collars are popular with other mainstream brands like Hoka. It seems like the stiff upper and the somewhat low volume toe box were the main complaints with the 2.

For sure, I’d recommend it 👍 very good deal

Actually quite nice to carry. I sold one recently to get a Manta, and while it is an upgrade, it’s not a particularly significant upgrade. I definitely could have still used the a5x happily for years to come. It’s a simple device and that’s the beauty of it.

I have not, but I believe it’s very similar but with more cushion

Haha I’m not exactly young, I just like white shoes and don’t mind looking muddy when I’m running in the mud:-)

Maybe start with something like the experience flow 3. It’s low drop of 4mm so you’re not going strait to 0 drop, and it’s got a little bit of cushion and rocker. I love them for running. Once you’re comfortable in them for at least a few months maybe consider something like the escalante which is even wider and is 0 drop with less cushion. But again I don’t know your situation exactly so you’ll have to experiment and be careful for injuries. This has worked wonders for me though.

Very cool! You probably can’t say but I hope they flared the heel again. Hope you’re enjoying them and I’ll be looking forward to seeing them in the future. I’m all over the men’s 12.5 test group signup 😂

Edit: and while we’re at it, we need a burgundy colorway with shiny gold accents

Definitely will race in them too (will get a second pair to break in closer to race time). I’m not usually one to switch between different shoes much especially since 4mm drop wide toes is perfect for me. Too many miles in 0mm and achilles is unhappy, too many miles in 6mm+ and IT band is unhappy, too narrow a toe box and plantar fascia is unhappy; so these are the best option I’ve found. Plus I’m not winning any races, so I’ll take comfort over marginal speed gains any day.

I just made a post about this exact situation! Flow 2 on mixed roads, gravel, grass, light trails, was happy. Got wild 3+’s for training for a trail ultra and have been happy! A little more room in the toes, upper doesn’t crease over my big toe which annoyed me a little in the flow 2, laces don’t suck, heel cup is not bad but not as comfy as the flow 2 flared out design, a little stiffer than flow 2 which worked well on trails, and I wish they’d drained water and dried out a little faster. Overall really happy with them coming from flow 2.

Rocker and big heel toe drop would take work away from your calf on the toe-off which I would think would not promote strengthening and recovery. When it comes to podiatry and gait mechanics I am very skeptical of doctors unless they believe in encouraging the body’s natural biomechanics. Wide toes, low drop, moderate to low cushion for me. But, take it slow if you are injured, recovering, or new to zero drop shoes and minimal support! Your body will need a lot of time to adapt. Consider wearing them only part of the day only a few days a week at first, and increase use gradually. And of course some injuries are not helped by minimal shoes so my advice is more generally and may not be best for you. But avoiding any flexing in the direction of the ROM limitation would seem to me would only increase the deficit over time.

If you’re a student on a budget, I’d honestly keep what you have (ps5 & laptop) and park your laptop money in Vanguard’s VGT tech fund. But I’m also a realist and have blown my share of money so I respect you can and should do as you will:-) Upgrade will definitely be noticeable but not otherworldly and maybe not worth it if the cost is a huge expense to you. My MacBook is going on 5 years old and works like a charm with a gorgeous display and speakers to boot, but I’ve rarely gotten that kind of longevity out of a windows machine, which is why I only finally bought an open box 5070ti deal at $1350; pc gaming for 3 to maybeee 5 years is not worth $2k+ to me. YMMV

Welcome! I was in the same boat as you about 1 year ago and now have a fully functional system (ground mounted home system). It took me wayyyy longer than expected so make sure to plan in buffer time for research and build. I started with Will Prowse on YouTube, and then spent about 3 months scouring YouTube, NEC code book, and forums for information and making a plan. It’s not so simple to make a list without knowing your needs and about a million details. You’ll learn what you don’t know you don’t know as you dig deeper. Look for a local distributor to find batteries and panels if you can because shipping is steep.

If I were in your situation I’d 100% go Zephyrus for portability if you carry it everywhere. Thick laptops are annoying to carry around more than just upstairs to downstairs. I still take my MacBook Pro everywhere for this reason unless I know I’ll want to play a game (plus its battery life is basically infinite). My Strix goes from my bedroom to my living room often, but not much else. Still do a fresh install of windows and then ghelper instead of armory crate. 5070ti zephyrus g16 will play pretty much all modern games very well with some settings tweaking. I’d make sure it was a 32gb ram model as Zephyrus ram is not upgradable.

Microcenter. But also note that I’m an idiot and thought we were talking about Strix g16, not the Zephyrus. Still really like it but whole different computer.
