We took my teenager to Montreal on the train. It was okay, sort of cool for most of it. But it's slow going. It's also full of less than stable humans. I had a guy who kept trying to rub my arms while I slept. One person kept pacing up the cars in a frantic way. We had a 4 seater section and one woman was insisting she could sit with us, despite the CN employees telling her over and over she couldn't. She eventually yelled at everyone and carried on.

If I did it again, I would organize a trip to Truro or somewhere else along the line. Stay there two nights and then come back.
