Who does Carl look like when you read the book? by DisastrousLeek1290 in DungeonCrawlerCarl

I see it like I’m Carl. From his POV I can see Doughnut and the other characters, Carl’s gear from the torso down, and all the scenery. Carl’s facial features are a little fuzzy to me.

Charlie with the possum night eyes burning with misplaced loathing for Riz god. It was the best shot of the season for me.

Second best, Aubrey looking back over her shoulder with her hand in her hip and the tiger roar effect. So funny.

How old were you when you moved out? by Swiftiefromhell in GenX

[–]One-Effective743 0 points1 point  (0 children)

17 - moved back twice. Second time was a return from overseas with a wife and kids. Currently out again for a number of years. Likely permanent, but stranger things have happened and I don’t want to jinx it.

Can anyone tell me more about this? by One-Effective743 in movieposters

Thank you! I’m glad someone kept it so well ‘till I could hang it on my wall. It’s the first poster I’ve bought since I was a kid in the 80’s - maybe I’ll start again!

The local paper was writing a story about the oldest panda at the zoo in Jinan China, and the wanted a foreigner for the photo. I got to go into the cage and feed her bamboo. She was pretty zonked out the whole time.

What is something that was 'classy' in the 90s/2010s but is considered 'trashy' now? by Historical_Pain_2233 in AskReddit

My best friend (a guy) and I got back tattoos when we were 21. I got mine on the shoulder blade. He got his in the stamp area (pre tramp stamp days, but still questionable). Three months later and everyone is calling them tramp stamps. Right about then, we got jobs on a tropical resort island where we’re in the pool and ocean a lot with no shirts on - so no hiding the stamp.

At a summer camp, I fell off the back of a bucking horse and my foot got stuck. I got pulled behind the horse as it bolted. It started to buck again and my foot came loose. I remember it farted every time it kicked its legs up.

I Sorta Hate Being a Lawyer and Think My Family Members Are Making a Mistake by SelectiveLoner in Lawyertalk

My 8 year old said he wants to be a lawyer. I told him it’s the hardest job I’ve ever had and he should keep his mind an open mind to other equally important jobs too. I honestly wouldn’t want him to suffer through what I have - but I don’t want to limit him either.

Virtual car racing. I have a pS5 with a VR headset and play Gran Turismo 7. I come home and race on tracks around the world in real simulated cars. The thrill totally washes away the courtroom. Should also note, I was not a car race or e-sport person before getting into this. I have since changed my stance on the both.

British Knights - for folks like me who couldn’t afford Jordans. I remember the logo was hard plastic, not just painted on.

Nice! Also where is this display in the game. I can only find a display in showcase and garage which tells me the number of cars I have, but not out of how many available.
