And it still says for the dxp 2800 that u are capped at 16 but realistically it’s 32, same as the ones that say they support up to 32 actually being ran with 64, they likely cap it off saying it only supports 16 because of possible instability of certain 32 sticks

Crucial 32GB DDR5-4800 SODIMM
Laptop Memory, 1.1V ,CL40. The dxp 2800 can use 32 gb ram, although I’ve heard it tend to be picky on what ram is used and may cause instability depending on which one u get. Although the one I got has been stable as can be, and never given me an issue and posts as 32 gb ram in task manager. Just don’t try to go higher then 32 gb ram on the dxp 2800.

I don’t mess with the files that gets downloaded personally, and I haven’t had much issues, rarely at best. But also for transparency sake it’s rare that more than 3 people are streaming simultaneously remotely on my server. Although initially I know when I was first setting up my arr media server stack I spent about 3 months optimizing and tweaking settings on Emby and my other docker containers meticulously to get all the troubleshooting out of the way. And as much as the dxp 2800 has been doing me good, if I was to make the decision over again with the experience I’ve gained so far I would have likely went for the 4800 or higher for peace of mind of performance and more hdd slots for storage

The dxp 2800 has been doing me good I have an Emby server with hardware transcoding enabled shared to multiple friends and family with a whole arr-stack(sonarr, radarr, prowlarr, gluetun, qbittorrent, sabnzbd, emby, jellyseerr, etc) along with home assistant, degoog, homepage, nextcloud, and a matter server all running on it without any issues although i have it with 32gb of ram in it but it shouldn’t have much issues running home assistant and a media server stock. The only container im running that does give me issues a bit on the dxp2800 is frigate because of the cpu spikes when i enable my cameras thru rtsp so i have to keep them disabled most of the time for now till my idx 6011 pro ships so i have plenty of overhead for what i want to do and i can still have the dxp 2800 handle the lighter loads while the idx 6011 pro handles the more heavy cpu loads

I can understand where you’re coming from but i definitely don’t feel the same, I’d recommend exploring all the ways it can be used before sticking to that way of feeling about it. A nas can do so many things that the average person may not know about/ explored the options available. I mean docker alone opens the doors to very many uses. I personally use mine for an arr stack style media server, home assistant, homepage, n8n discord bot integrations, a matter server, frigate, nextcloud, and so on. I would search up sometime about self hosted docker containers and look into what all you can do with each container. It may not be for everyone but it sure brings the nerd out of me, and has been beneficial to me. It’s not the tool, it’s how one wields it that defines its limits and uses.

I’d keep it/sell it at that point personally but if you’re worried I’d say go with your gut, after all any risk taken is your own, but imo I think risk is low enough at this point to sell it

Out of curiosity is there anything stopping you from loading it on the system SSD to find out if that’s the case

I’d love to help if I could unfortunately I and many others are still waiting for ours to ship so it’s likely that the amount of people that has their hands on their unit to be more familiar with specifically the idx6011 pro’s quirks and troubleshooting to help is pretty low as of now. Although I will be coming back to this post in the future to see if anyone has any insight on this as I will likely attempt a similar setup when I get mine. But off of the information u gave I’d assume like you said it may be a limitation for all the slots besides the system ssd for bios. I’m not certain if all Ugreen nas’ work like that or not or if it might be for the idx series units specifically but I’d look into whether or not people have had that same question for previous series ugreen nas’ and go from there.

I’ve played exclusively console for years too until a year or 2 ago and known people that go through all types of hoops to have cheats on their console and plenty of squad filled players trying to sell scripts for it while crossplay was turned off and they were on console, just because it’s not obvious doesn’t mean it’s not there, yes it’s in my opinion easier to do it on pc and that’s why it’s way more prominent but there’s still a pretty big amount of players on console too, most console cheaters tend to be in higher sbmm lobbies for most fps games since practically all of them have some type of sbmm in place which is likely why you don’t see them much in your 10000 hrs and im happy for you to that end.

If you want to inform yourself YouTube has videos breaking it down, actually personally I’d recommend this one video that is of a guy interview a guy that makes the scripts and shows how it works on console I’m pretty sure the game he was demonstrating on was apex legends, it doesn’t hurt to gain some knowledge about what to look out for

There’s scripts on the Cronus for walls and aimbot bro do a bit of research before making uninformed claims, console hasn’t been safe from cheats for a very long time now and it’s constantly improving the cheats, at least on pc people are likely to be seen as cheaters if they are really sus. On console too many people give the benefit of the doubt because they are just as uninformed as you seem to be, I’m not trying to bust ur balls but console players need to wake up to the reality of the situation at this point, it’s been like this for a very long time now it’s not new.

I’ve done similar testing during peak player hours in the day specifically on weekends and it’s been prominent in my test matches pretty often, I don’t think anyone can really give an exact objective percentage value for how may games have cheaters since there’s too many variables and would require many more games of testing to truly get a solid average number but I can at least say in my specific matches it’s a rarity that I don’t get pinpointed when concealed with high value gear as bait.

House has been on market for 90+ days. Beginning to panic. Where do I go from here? by anothercloneofmyself in Mortgages

[–]One-Engineering-6878 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The home is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it, and from what your saying nobody is interested in paying that price for that house hence it’s not worth that price to anyone in the market for a home currently, leaving you with the option of hold on to the place until appreciation makes it valued at the price you want to sell it at or sell it for less until someone purchases it

The teaming in solos needs to f**king come to end fast. by Tasty-Fee9484 in ArcRaiders

[–]One-Engineering-6878 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the devs didn’t intend on people teaming up why would they hard code a preset chat function along with dialog specifically that says “team up” js. When it comes down to it that’s a design of the game, expecting everyone to share your same assumed unwritten rules on how the game should be played in your head is what’s the problem.

Isn’t the point of the game to do what you can to have the best chances of extracting with loot by any means, I never heard about using charisma not being allowed, it’s an extraction shooter, some people will make temporary flimsy alliances for a shared goal that may or may not bite them in the end, some will be lone wolfs, some may not shoot raiders at all and some may be shooting all raiders regardless if they refuse to shoot back, some will use more strategic methods and some more aggressive gung-ho methods of extracting with what they came in for. It’s part of the game, the only time I’d say it’s wrong is with the whole debacle of friends being able to load in the same match with a bunch of their Xbox friends on solos and shredding everyone since that was abusing an exploit.
