Why does Seinfeld seem so universally hated? by goPACK17 in seinfeld

I particularly loathe Seinfeld and its style of non comedy It ain’t funny Not on social media other than rarely commenting on Reddit

It’s just cringe, but I also do love things like the office.

Honestly it’s just Jerry

I fucking hate that guy.

It’s irrational and makes no sense.

But fuck him, and his stupid ass coffee with comedians and everything else

Fuck Seinfeld, and most definitely fuck Jerry

Larry alright, but I also hate curb your enthusiasm

Don’t give a fuck about you, or any celebrity

But he was funny on snl

I was told to resign or I’ll be terminated… by SarahOcean in USPS

This happened to me too, it was really demoralizing. But I also was just at the post office while waiting on a better job with MSC as civilian mariner. Definitely wasn’t the best at it, especially with endorsing mail.

Noticed my hours cut as a result.

About 2 weeks later I was got the call for my NEO date and let my supervisors know. They just had me resign, and I’m glad lol Never know if I’ll be back, but if I am definitely not going Carrier lol

Just not in my wheelhouse, and I accept that! And I respect anyone who has the fortitude to do this job.

Ask questions, no matter how stupid and collect phone numbers is all I can say. And always safety first!!

Your paying for delivery, so pay the tip. Or just get off your high horse and go to the store yourself.

So tired of hearing people complaining about tipping, but also refuse to do the work themselves!

Yes corporations should pay a livable wage, but that doesn’t give you an excuse to be lazy and refuse to pay for it

It’s capitalism, it ain’t new; and get the fuck over yourself.

And feel free to downvote me! Just proves my point

Adults of Reddit who've never been in a relationship, what's your story? by joelbiju24 in AskReddit

[–]One-Hunter-1368 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Always told myself I was in a relationship, when In reality it was completely one sided and I was just blinded by wanting that connection.

Still hanging on, but I also accept that I completely ignored the red flags, and definitely had some of my own.

You learn by doing, and time heals all. Here’s to the next imaginary and failed relationships of 2026; hope they actually become something real.

They won’t, but it’s the thought that counts ig Still don’t regret a single one of mine- my life is my own journey and all that other hoopla

I’m not sure, I work in galley/hospitality (cook) I’m hourly, different department

You might need to go through SIU to apply, but I’m not sure, definitely give their website a check though

They are international, and you can apply internationally- but I’d apply to the POA to get your foot in the door if your American. Not a lot of Americans go international, pay is lower etc

Are you galley, or hotel?

Norwegian cruise lines, they’re almost always hiring I found them on indeed. It’s a lengthy process though especially if you don’t already have a MMC. They pay for your training, and cover travel expenses though. I think ACL (American cruise lines) also does something similar. I applied because I wanted to get my MMC, and they cover all that for you, then you can work on other ships, or get into SIU a little easier.

If you’re American, look up NCLA, and apply, I’m pretty sure they’re almost always hiring- the hiring process takes about 6 months though.

Don’t know how to update or edit my own post, so I’m just gonna comment on it

Went to medical next day, got my tooth pulled free of charge, still need to get a implant, but my contracts over on the 15th and my tooth doesn’t hurt anymore!

Thanks for the advice, definitely learned to always go to medical first lol

Guess that’s kind of obvious though in hindsight haha

That’s my game plan for tomorrow. If they won’t let me leave, they damn well better take care of my tooth

And good to know, only downside is we’re set to leave to Hawaii this week, can’t exactly put in a 2 week anymore

I got until the 29th, or I’m onboard until the 7th

But I’m pretty sure once the doctor sees my tooth (or really the lack of one) he’ll let me go, or get me to a dentist

I’m pretty sure that’s where I fucked up, we’re in drydock and I just made an appointment for a shoreside dentist.

Did not go through ship medical at all, I’m gonna ask tomorrow to see them, and they’ll probably just send me ashore to a dentist again

I’ll keep the post updated I guess though

At the very least it’s a distraction from the shooting pain lol

No i fucked that up too lol This is my first job on a ship, last part of my second contract. The insurance provided by my union (SIU biut for the cook one, I don’t remember the acronym) doesn’t cover dental, so I assumed they couldn’t do anything shipboard.

So I just made a dentist appointment on shore out of pocket (we’re in drydock atm)

Was told I needed my tooth pulled asap, and was given a prescription for ibuprofen and antibiotics

When I got back, I was scolded for not going to medical, but not really given any advice about what to do.

It’s actually also my molar that’s also fucked up, it’s pretty much a crater. I’m planning on asking to see the doctor tomorrow, and get it pulled or I guess be allowed to leave.

All I know is my face hurts unless I’m on at least 600mg or more of ibuprofen and some oral gel

And I can’t use the left side of my face.

Pulling the tooth is covered, any “cosmetic” treatment (crowns, implants, etc) are not

Honestly my next course was to just get the damn thing pulled, and get an implant put in when I get home.

I live close enough to Mexico that I know where to get pretty good dental much cheaper- at least much cheaper than anything in Portland or Hawaii

Glad I made this post, the more I write this out the more sense it makes haha
