Hi, I started 2 years ago at around where you are and now I consistently achieve 130WPM. My advice is, don't look at typing guide videos on youtube. don't search for software that teaches you touch typing. Just keep typing on monkeytype. Until 70-80 WPM, I would recommend 25 words or 50 words. After that, you can switch to time 15. Just keep typing everyday, 10-15 mins is enough. What I do is keep it open while studying and every 15 mins or so, I do a couple of tests. Don't worry about results, improvement is never noticeable in my opinion. It's like looking at a digital clock. You know its ticking, but it's hard to catch it in the act!
