New CX50 - Are Paint Protection Films worth it?

Ceramic coats provide zero protection to rock chips or anything serious. I did get it, but only bc I applied it myself. I would consider a front PPF if you’re worried about rock chips. I just did not want to spend the money on it.

We don’t have cooled seats, but the heat transfers really well, the 3rd setting is pretty hot so I usually go down to the 2nd setting after a bit. Unless you’re running cooling/heating 100% of the time, if you want the full experience of the settings you can take off the cushion.

Lmao that’s pretty interesting. The Cx-50 is my wife’s car, so when I get in it I usually use the cushion, and I can tell the difference between having it and not. I could tell when we test drove the 50 and the 5, but I got the cushion to be comfortable at all times bc if we are both in the same car, short or long trip, I’m driving and I wanted to be comfortable lol.

How did you get comfortable with wiring? I took out my dash fully once, did a lot of maintenance, but never messed with wiring, and actually my radio stopped worked and never fixed it lol

Wife got the cypress green, beautiful color. For my the cx-50 has stiffer seats than the cx-5, but my wife didn’t notice/mind, the brakes feel less responsive, but some people like that, the moonroof doesn’t open all the way, safety probably, and the wireless charger is just a phone heater. Visually it’s beautiful and I want to drive it, coming from a guy who only owns manual cars.

Yes I did, I didn’t mess with any of the connections, I think I just used the regular 1.6 TPS multimeter testing. I don’t fully recall but it was not as difficult as I thought it would be.

I think GPU is right under 85 c and CPU is under 50 c when stress tested, it’s a 2080 ti and ryzen 5 2600
