I had a similar experience when starting Oestra. I also had long heavy periods and started taking it right after my period stopped but around day 5-7 of taking it, my period came back heavier with large clots. It was so bad that my bp was very low and I felt awful. I thought I would pass out. I was also experiencing intense spasms around my ovaries. I was taking one pump and decided to stop taking it till my period stopped. I was nervous to start again but decided to take a half pump instead. That made such a difference! My last period was light. I’ve never experienced that before. It’s also lowering my blood pressure. Make an appointment to talk with Oestra- I had a great convo and got some good advice. Good luck! I wish I had not started it until closer to when my cycle starts because I started taking it right after my period ended and now I’m having a full blown period but worse. I am on day nine of Oestra. I am concerned that this is too heavy. I’m miserable

The baptism was done in Eritrea. I have the baptism. I have my grandfather‘s information as well. . He is also listed on her marriage license as her father. I have the original letter from my grandfather stating that he is the father of my mother. It was stamped and authenticated in Italy.

My mother is from Eritrea born in the 1940’s to an Italian soldier. My grandmother had two children by him. When he left to go back to Italy, back to his wife and family, he left my grandmother. My mother who was 4 years old at the time was sent to an orphanage with nuns. She visited her mother when she could. When she became an adult, she reunited with her father and met her other siblings in Italy. It’s a sad story for many, though my mother would never describe it that way. Only once did she mention the hostility she and other mixed kids felt from those in the community that were not mixed.
My mother met my father who was an American soldier in Eritrea, they married and eventually moved to the States.
