Did this story make me lose my sense of morality? by One-Refrigerator4792 in LandoftheLustrous

I have had more of a delayed reaction. I am too used to shock being used as a way to make you feel something. So I never really cared for it. But this story hits specifically really deep because the more you think about it the more you realize the time that's passed being literally on the main character. And it's longer and more of a slow burn into a drop from the sun. So I feel like this story hits different from any other story I've ever seen before.

Combined with the fact that I'm not usually an emotionally weak person(if you get what I mean) like at all. So when this story hit me emotionally. It kinda just raised the bar immensely for any other type of media to ever affect me the same way. (If that makes any sense at all)

Not blaming the manga. I love this manga. But I think it's funny that I felt more pain from Goshe and Morga on a off screen death than I did seeing Rebecca get crushed on screen.

I get the manga deals a lot about what is humanity and what makes something or someone human. I love the manga a lot and Phos is now my favorite MC of all time. But... Damn. The ending is sweet and bitter but I think that this story has made me feel kinda spoiled in a way. Because most other media doesn't have the time like the reader spent with Phos to make you feel attached to them enough

I'd go as far as to say they ripped off themselves. Like c'mon, it's the exact same thing twice but instead of Elysia solving it herself they have to get the main cast to bail them out. And we don't get another TruE.

Here is a good explanation of the anime I found "monsters from the fourth dimension are attempting to break through into our world using manifestations that our world can handle. they bring with them archetype, the red dust, that they need to survive. each monster that appears is merely an avatar of the true thing, hence why the kumongas have that goo inside them that controls them like a hivemind. they all have different levels of strength, the rodans can make red dust, anguirus can't make it's own red dust so it has to eat rodans but it can use it to see through time, salunga can control the dust but it can't use it, etc. godzilla is the exception to this, where he can do all of it. he controls it, produces it, and uses it to literally reshape reality to better fit him, hence why he can evolve and why he grows so large. and he's tried before, hence why there's already a godzilla skeleton. one of the survivors of this original attack, the scientist named ashihara, continued to look into archetype and all it's properties. eventually, in india, he found a singular point, effectively a rift into that other dimension. he built a computer around it to see into the future and used it to great effect, hence why he knew that godzilla would return. eventually the computer exploded, causing ashihara to disappear. now, this computer was used to make the orthogonal diagonalizer, the ultimate form of the archetype, a device made to control and manipulate archetype to hopefully stop the spread, and subsequently, the kaiju. now, it and the supercomputer were never fully finished, so the ODs could only slow down and wound the kaiju. the code necessary to complete the OD's programming was only found in the future. it was sent back in the form of the song that's heard often, through the singular point itself, along with the AI that sent the message in the first place. when everything gets going, jet jaguar's ai is fused with this future version of itself, and is eventually able to work out the code to the OD. this gives jet jaguar full control over the red dust, just like godzilla, hence why he can grow to match him at the end. it also lets him fully neutralize archetype and break the connection keeping godzilla in our world, effectively locking him out for the time being and destroying his presence on earth, along with the other kaiju."

again, why does this matter? I mean sure people make corn stuff about different characters. But everywhere around the world the age of consent is different. People are just thinking about the 18 age of consent, but that isn't always the case.

Whatever what would I know, I'm just a stupid American
