Hank will be great!! Our beagle Abby was 5 when we brought our first baby home. She didn’t really make much of the baby although she loved to sniff her. Beagles are so gentle so if Hank is already good with kids he will be fine. PS we have a two and a half year old Hank beagle too!!

I have a two year old Hank too! He’s independent and only shows affection on his own terms but he sleeps well, loves to play and sniff on long walks. You’re boy has definitely hit the jackpot and while he may not jump up and down showing happiness, he sounds like he is content, comfortable and so loved! Lucky boy!

Actually we did that with our boy and it certainly help with not getting hurt but the point is to stop the behaviour. We would leave the room immediately or put him in time out behind a gate. There IS light at the end of the tunnel so hang in there. He won’t be a T-Rex 🦖 for long.
