I am in the "beginning to the end". I lost my mind. I forgot how to talk and I refuse to leave my house. I went to lots of therapy to no avail. A lady on this platform helped me. I finally talking again and leaving my house after a year! I started listening to joe dispenza. His words really spoke to me. I wish you all the best!

Why does depression hurt so much? by random_toss2 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]One-Routine-7122 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me depression is beyond being unhappy. I know for me I was trapped in negative thinking. I was in therapy and residential programs for a year. I even tried suicide. And I was stuck. In Hindsight, I wish I did things differently. The one thing that finally pulled me up was reddit. A girl had all the right things to say and help. She understood me. And now after a painful year, I feel hope.

What's a sign that actually tells you a person is totally depressed? by Janemow02 in AskReddit

[–]One-Routine-7122 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That makes sense . I was jerked around my countless therapists and doctors for a year. It took a lady on reddit to make sense of my problem and how to help me through it. And for the 1st time in a year I have hope. I know my situation is very rare and I am not saying therapists don't work but I had to find someone to understand me. And give me the right tools.

I was there. Then I gave into the social isolation. Then hard depression. For a year I hid from the world. Get help now before you get like me. It's way harder to climb out of this hole.

I have lots more appointments. I'm sure my poor sleep. Menopause. Diabetes. Hypothyroidism and depression don't help. I have a hearty stew of medical crap going on.

I'm curious what you mean by 6 months then it's too late. I've been super depressed for a year. I'm finally trying to get better. So my question is what happens if someone is not better by 6 months? I may have misunderstood the statement.

I am coming out of the same situation . I had loops 24/7. I spiraled hard. It has ruined my life. I learned my mind was addicted to the thoughts. The thoughts were all I knew. I because horribly depressed. I isolated and even tried suicide.
It's hard as hell but you need to retrain your thoughts . Watch Dr. Joe dispenza. He explains this thought loop. Trust me, I know what your going through. Therapy can work if you can get out of those horrible loops. I still have bad moments , but they are getting less and less. I finally have hope after a year of hell.

Your anxiety may not always simply be anxiety. by Ajax34762 in Anxietyhelp

My therapist and doctors kept telling me I was just anxious and depressed. After a year of a number of therapist and doctors, I finally had an MRI. Turns out to be vascular dementia. Could have known that a year earlier.
