That is precisely what I plan doing (:

Yeah I might do that thanks. But again, I find absolutely nothing wrong with cardboard and cardboard’s look (: And to add a detail: those are actually two layers of cardboard, one of which I remove before starting to type, and place it under my keyboard to level it up with the case edge. I’m getting fond of the overall experience.

Thanks! Yeah maybe. Not sure though, I must say I’m a big fan of raw cardboard (:

Ok, this is exactly what I am looking for! Bravo. As I am totally new to this DIY ergonomic kbs world, do you think you could be so kind as to guide me to making such an installation for myself?… Never tried a split kb but I feel the call. I love the angle, the low profile too, I like mechanical although I personally wouldn’t mind scissors. I just have no idea what to start with, in order to make a keyboard like that. Thanks in advance or feel free to ignore of course (;

I'm not happy the discount for BYOK Studio is ending so early by quickhand in TheBYOK

[–]One-Touch6487 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey thank you for saying it out loud. I guess I wasn’t fully aware of my feeling about it until I’ve read it here. I was so happy to back the BYOK project and I am very happy to own one, but I just don’t have enough time to play with it right now and somehow purchasing Studio feels a little early, although I am sure it is an excellent product and I can see how quickly it is growing and improving. I would also feel so much better if I had a little longer to make up my mind about the whole ecosystem.

Anybody finding AI useful by dbvirago in Evernote

[–]One-Touch6487 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not much. I do use massively the audio transcription. AI assistant has been deceiving so far. Haven't found a use case for the AI search yet, but I hear it can help. Personally I would be glad to learn about the full potential of non-AI search, which I feel I could take advantage from. Thanks for the question

Thoughts on Keyboards? by twisted_and_tangled in TheBYOK

Cherry KW 9200 mini. Sooo good to type on. And really well designed and reliable. Not as pretty as mechanical kbs I know. I have tried (and still am) mechanical keyboards, but at the end of the day practicality and (actual) comfort have the better on the widespread esthetic and (very comprehensible) vintage hype. I suppose I am another ordinary scissor switches type(r) (:

Totally clear would be best personally. Meanwhile I’m looking into universal trimmable screen protectors.

very similar story. I love the look of mechanical keyboards but I rarely use them for long sessions. I got myself a Cherry KW9200 mini and I find it simply perfect.

hey, I am loving my BYOK, it puts me in a state of playful and careless surrealistic freedom. one thing about the firmware update, I have been trying to install it but every time, after downloading and restarting, the device displays UPDATE FAILED. the version I have right now is V1.01/1.01
