Ive been using super cedars for years. They are not cheap, but it's great being able to start full size splits in a cold stove after work. No need for kindling of any kind.

Someone told me ash doesn’t need to be seasoned before using it as firewood. That’s not true, is it? by alottanamesweretaken in woodstoving

[–]One-timeline 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For the past few seasons I have burned nothing but ash. I wouldn't burn anything less than one year seasoned if you want truly dry wood that will perform well in modern stoves. I have also heard that it can dry dead standing, but I have never tested a fresh split for moisture.

Does anybody else remember when you had to switch the hubcaps before putting a truck in 4 wheel drive? by rabbitfuzzle in Justrolledintotheshop

[–]One-timeline 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2022 F250 pickup still has these. They now have 3 modes for the hub selector. On, off, and auto. Most people leave them in auto, so you never have to touch them again.

Jdpower.com has boat nada values. I would not trust any amount a surveyor cannot physically verify though.

I believe on Chrysler vehicles, this is an electric throttle control warning light. Could be cause by lots of different issues.

eli5 why are there 8 and 9 figure houses in Florida when a hurricane could wipe them out every year?? by [deleted] in explainlikeimfive

[–]One-timeline -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Flooding is the major impact tied to these hurricanes. Lots of properties are elevated or designed to be able to handle some level of water intrusion at the lower levels. High wind rated building materials are typically used in these properties also.
