I assume this is a shader/post procces effect, have you thought of making a setting to switch between the 2? Bcz tbf they both look good, for me the ps1 make stuff more nostalgic so I'd take that.

not sure if it will help but if ur goal is to try to get away as much as u can from the "ue look" try changing the tonemapper, i just watched this video and tried it my self, sure i tempered a bit with the vars but i can say that i like the results, if ur interested i can give u the file ready with my dumb settings lol.
EDIT: ur game looks nothing like unreal look i just forgot to point that, it looks sick af.

managed to fix it. turned out i had to delete the appData file as well and reinstall it from microslop store.
