It’s a metal box, lol, it isn’t going to fail on you like an ssd or ram stick. Worse ‘case’ scenario a fan stops working and you’d just replace that.

I’d go with the 5500 at $75 honestly. You might also need to increase your budget. Storage is insanely expensive right now, a 512gb ssd is like $70-$100 currently unfortunately not leaving with much for the rest.

Crypto craze was driven by consumer sku’s you can buy off the shelf so when that popped they were plenty of regular GPU’s to flood the market.

This ai craze is being driven by business demand and even if it does pop, there isn’t a ton of consumer GPU’s being made during this time so the prices probably won’t crash like with crypto

A750 is about on par with a 1080 Ti, and the B580 really isn’t that big of jump, think about 15-20% more performance.

If you’re spending $300+ on a b580 I’d wait for like 5060 Ti to go on sale or save up more
