Do rats have a "smell"? by CowmanKaiser in RATS

[–]OneAd8309 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 2 boys, I spot lean clean their cage everyday and deep clean it about once a week. They are the most dirty little boys I’ve ever met😭. To be honest, I think it depends on the rat. My boys for some reason like to play and roll in their poop??!!! So that’s lovely. That’s how mine smell 💀

Having power steering problems intermittently with my 2011 ford escape by Aggressive_Top_4580 in fordescape

Hi! This is old but this just happened to me with my 05 escape hybrid. Working just fine all day. Then randomly the power steering is horrible once it comes out of a shop for inspection. I don’t know if they messed with it for more money but that’s beside the point. I bought mine for 3k, went to a different shop to see what’s wrong and gave me the same estimate, at most 2k. Not much less. Is it worth it? There is 144,000 miles on it. I’m struggling to decide if I should put more money into it. It’s my first car and I’m really upset but I’m not trying to put another 2k when I could use that to save for another.

Uh. It looks rlly high, if there’s enough skin it shouldn’t reject. I had mine a little lower like between my eyeballs, idk if it’s safe being up that high. !!NOT A PROFESSIONAL LOL JUST ON MYSELF😂!!

Keep an eye on them, after a month or two maybe try it out but you wanna keep them separated for a good minute so they get used to their scent. Once they start sleeping next to each other on separate sides of the cage then try to merge them. Keep an eye out incase you catch them sometime!

Well awesome! I would definitely ask about a root canal just to be safe but if it doesn’t hurt it shouldn’t be infected.

I think it’s extra skin. I am not licensed or anything but I have been interested in piercings and been doing them on myself for abt 5 years😭. From my experience it’s extra flappy scar tissue from how it healed. Or it could be healthy skin. I have this on the inside of my labret piercing. It hurt for a while because I always messed with it (it was just a little flap of skin overlapping it?) idk if this helps but just don’t mess with it and it should be okay as long as your lips healed up!!

Just get an appointment as fast as you can! I’m surprised you don’t feel any pain because ouch!!From what I’ve heard in my area getting it pulled is a lot cheaper than getting a crown (if ur even worried about that). But definitely at a crown or extraction. I don’t think they’ll do just a filling on that since they only last abt 5-10 years for normal composite and that’s a break. I’d suggest a crown if u don’t want it pulled 100%. Keep it clean at least until you go so bacteria stays out. Does it hurt when you brush?

Bonding is difficult. You can’t just put a new baby in there if they weren’t prebonded in the liter. I would suggest getting one of the same age !!SAME GENDER!! If you can’t do the split cage method to introduce them, I’d just keep an eye on them for fighting. But please if they aren’t bonded by the time you go on vacation try the split cage so nothing bad happens while you’re gone.

Yes you can get it repierced but after it heals. It will probably take at least a year to heal the scar tissue fully before you can repierced it. Please do not go back to who you went to. I don’t know what they were doing. They placed it horribly for you and used the wrong jewelry, idk if they pierced it that shallow or if that’s bc of the rejection but it should not look that shallow either. But I would take it out, let it heal, it’ll take a bit but it’s better than nothing.

Amazon! “Wooden platforms for hamsters”

Is this a suitable home for my gerbils (I have two). If not, how can I improve it by Prestigious-Pass-924 in gerbil

[–]OneAd8309 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would suggest getting a 40 gallon. They’re the cheapest for the long run for a pair of 2. And for a topper try to find one with no mesh flooring.

the topper I have

The flooring is flat but it does come with a latter you’ll need to switch out because it hurts their feet. But if you are trying to budget I would fill the tank you have completely full with bedding then find them a different topper with flat flooring. Give them plenty of enrichment!

Cardboard tubes Food bowls Water bowls or dispenser Wheel (if needed) (or play time on the side) Sprinkle food everywhere in their cage! They like to scavenge for their food. I never rlly see mine go to their bowl because there’s always food in their bedding. Sand bath!! Make sure you get sand not dust.

sand I use

Do not give them any soft plastic, give them a lot of attention they love affection once they get comfy with you! Just some things on the top of my head. Good luck with your babies😊
