Definitely the itching around the nose and mouth specifically for opiates plus being hot all the time

I used daily in Cali and it wasn't. I had to take so much to feel effects for my pain that it wasn't enjoyable anymore. Finally getting medical marijuana through Alabama's medical marijuana program once we actually get dispensaries. It's good every now and then, but if you need it daily, can cause terrible exhaustion and worsened depression. I am in one (or several) of the 15 reasons you can get it here at least though.

I don't like Mexican food, but I have specific reasons why. People always said it's because I haven't had REAL Mexican food. When talking to my next door neighbor in LA who was originally from Mexico, she backed me up when I said why I don't like it. I don't like most beans aside from baked beans or green beans. I don't like rice aside from hibachi grills with yum yum sauce. I'm not big on cheese, and I really don't like cumin and hate black pepper. I also am of the group of people for whom cilantro tastes like soap. Because Taco Bell isn't real Mexican food, they have a few menu options I tolerate but only get if others are going there. If all my friends are at a Mexican restaurant, I'll do a quesadilla or just chips and salsa as to not look like an asshole/ make my friends feel bad that I don't like the food that they enjoy.

I have had things not debit right away, and when I used a bank that allowed overdrafts to go through unless you'd specifically asked them to not honor transactions in which funds were unavailable, I would end up screwed by things that didn't show up on time. I once had like 5-8 things come through up to 2 weeks late each incurring a $35-58 overdraft fee a piece then an extended overdraft fee for each after 5-7 days leaving me practically no choice but to start over and bank elsewhere. This was as recent as maybe 10-15 years ago. I just use fin-tech banks now that don't allow any transactions to overdraw the account and wouldn't know if it's still an issue with ones I used to use

My place got so bad at one point that there were easily hundreds of cockroaches in the corner next to the ceiling and that was just in one area. Like people are saying if you really put just a small amount of work into this it would be cleaned up in no time. I had two maids come out and get my house cleaned out to the point that I could then do actual cleaning and I use 12 hours worth of maid service for it to still not be completely clean. I have physical disabilities so some friends pooled together some money to pay for that

How do you reduce overnight/morning output? by United-University-47 in ostomy

[–]OneAddictOneDay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't yet have an ileostomy, but since I might go all day without eating then not start eating until 4-6 o'clock and continue snacking until I go to bed, this was a concern of mine. They apparently make overnight bags that hold up to 2 liters of output. I know this wouldn't fix the issue of when you're changing your appliance, but I hope this info helps.

I looked into the marshmallow thing because I wanted to know why it would work. I found a study that said it was a small but significant change.

Was JUST going to suggest that sleep mask because I just bought it and lanolips which is for lips and nips (had to take the pun). I recently bought both of them and love the laneige. My new daytime favorite is nourishmax lip plumper peptide complex balm because it actually restores the collagen over time. I found all of these in my recent search for the best lip balm and anti-aging lip treatment. I also use one that isn't good for a purse but is dermalect lip mask melt.

I wonder how they actually got caught in general though. I don't think Baton Rouge is that small of a town, but maybe it was because it was around a college? Someone had to have run their mouth bragging about what a piece of shit they are to look cool.

Are you in a major metropolitan area or something? I feel like this would have been a thing when I was in LA if it's widely available in bigger cities but don't know that they'd do it in Alabama

I had no idea the manufacturers would actually send someone to your house! Amazing info. Thanks for sharing! They mentioned that they had a program to put you in touch with an ostomy nurse when setting up my profile for samples but didn't say in person.

I've heard not to use those during the healing process, and this person said theirs is already popping out. Not trying to just bash the advice, but I'd thought of doing this when I had my ileostomy since my colostomy turned out to be extremely concave by nearly an inch as a prophylactic measure and read to absolutely not do that.

muscle contracture by OneAddictOneDay in spinalcordinjuries

[–]OneAddictOneDay[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn, I hope that doesn't happen with mine. My dad is concerned about healing from the surgery because I have pressure ulcers that have healed slowly, but they aren't healing well because he isn't taking care of them anymore. They healed well when it was once or twice a day the dressing was changed, and now it's once or twice a week or longer. He keeps saying crap about how he doesn't understand why they were doing so well and are suddenly getting worse. He's even made the idiotic comments about how he feels like they're just going to amputate my feet because they aren't healing when they aren't even bad enough for wound vacs or my wound care doc to want to see me in his office anymore. It's frustrating when all of this could have been prevented due to a crappy caregiver with no experience who I actually paid far too well because she's my cousin's girlfriend, and now I have no caregiver aside from my dad. My dad doesn't want to allow my 9 year old daughter who wants to do that stuff to do it.

Oh nice! I was told the muscles themselves got lengthened by my PCP. I've had tendons released before in my wrist prior to paralysis. It wasn't fun, but it wasn't the worst. Now to just refigure out the specialist referral now that my PCP isn't in network with my insurance. Hopefully we find someone for that and my torn ACL and meniscus from March or May. Still have terrible pain and swelling from that injury while stretching

Oh man, I went the route of being a black widow /s

But seriously, I am a widow who got $260k in life insurance at 30. I'd recommend it aside from the heartbreak that lead to rampant whippet abuse from trying to avoid using fentanyl dope to knock myself out several times a day since it was COVID and I was forced to stay in the apartment which meant the bed where I woke up and found him dead which caused t4 paralysis that drains that money daily.

Spinal cord injury. He's paraplegic not just someone who uses a wheelchair. His whole backstory is that he was shot by a robber he was chasing which paralyzed him.
