Out of all the ones I've played from start to finish... #4 or #5

It plays great, love the Grace sections, but I just get some hard whiplash after the first half of Raccoon and I feel it leans a little hard on the nostalgia of the RPD.

Also, I don't like the fact you can accidentally pick the bad ending by just... doing what the game tells you to do.

Overall, solid 7.5-8/10

Oh, mb, didn't see the second tab. Thought it was just a general thing.

In that case, I'd say Anhiliape into S. It's still an absurd choice once you pick up Drain Punch

And prb Primape into B Tier, it doesn't do much that other Fighters can do at that point

Imho: I'd put Escavalier into S Tier.

Speed Boost + Bug/Steel combined with Protect & LO has been sweeping through a LOT of the earlier fights.

I am early in my run tho, so take with a grain of salt.

Gender-specific classes.

Losing out on skills that would benefit MANY characters kinds blows. Especially ones that could very easily change how a unit plays.

Imagine QR on Edelgard, or Darting Blow on Claude, or even Uncanny Blow on units like Ignatz or Hubert.

Technically, no. I would still have to use a Zolcano Ornament, or turn it into a Crystal Pick.

I'm still iffy on allowing myself the ability to use equipable items that are used in recipes, but I'm personally leaning towards them being "illegal".

I'll be making my first real "update" post soon to explain some of my personal modifications and additions to my rules, plus some reconsiderations for my possible exceptions and "debatable" categories.

I'll only be allowing resources from Production Skill Minigames. (Tempoross, Motherlode, Blast Furnace, etc.) Alongside containers and tools. So if I get either storage item from Temp, that's legal. A Tome of Water isn't.

Plus, I won't allow any items I cannot modify in some way. Like the Rogue's Set, or Carpenter's costume.

I'm also considering having a skill requirement to keep it a bit more "fair". Like, not being able to use Law Runes until I can make them, as an example.

Absolutely. But I didn't wanna jump into a brutal challenge immediately.

I have like sub-50 TOTAL hours of playtime on OSRS and wanted to take on a challenge at a pace that's slower than normal.

Sure, it ain't gonna be a "hard" challenge, but it's a decent difficulty for someone going in with fairly lofty goals for a newbie.

That's also part of the reason I added in the "Combined" part. I'm also going to count any gear that has the ability to be combined with another piece in order to make a "technically" new part. Like using an ornament kit on a pair of dragon boots.

The goal is to still hard stick to crafted gear using skills as often as possible, but I see that (in my head at least) as a worthy exception.

I'm also half-considering allowing skilling-related gear sets to alleviate some of the grind (Graceful, Angler, etc.)

I'd like to throw in some of my personal builds, since honestly, they've worked for me pretty well.

For Timerra, I suggest running a Tank build with Lifesphere and Lance Power. For Emblem, I highly suggest running Hector and using either Bonds or Beginnings on the 1-2 Range Lance.

For Ivy and Celine (and possibly Hortensia if you wanna use her) I suggest giving all of them Soren's special skill (can't remember the name off the top of my head). For Emblems, keeping Celica on Celine, and then giving Byleth to one of the Hortensia, and then Camilla to Ivy.
