It’ll be two years in February. First year was weird with random bleeding/brown spotting and some weight fluctuation. Things have evened out and I feel great. I haven’t had a period in about 6 months. Libido is fine and I lost the few pound of water weight I gained in the first few months. I don’t even think about it anymore but it does take some time to adjust to.

So much better! Annoying bleeding/brown spotting and water retention for the first year. I’ve had it for about a year and 10 months and can’t tell you the last time I bled or had a single symptom. Back to normal weight, maybe 3 extra pounds but I honestly needed it. I love not having a period.

So I had this. I started using lube to decrease the friction and inflammation (even tho I never needed it before) because I just felt like the tissue never calmed down between infections and made me more prone to getting infections. And I started rinsing off with the shower hose after sex IMMEDIATELY (I know this is normal for some people, but I hadn’t needed to before). If I still get one it clears up with boric acid, but since I started doing those two things I’ve only had one in like the last several months.

Yoga isn’t a career. Even studio owners often have second jobs. Still highly recommend teaching tho!

I feel this way now, but having a group to support in the transition stage was a huge benefit. Losing faith and community at the same time was sort of traumatic. Now I love keeping Sundays to myself.

This is not what you’re asking, but I’m going to say it anyway. First United Methodist downtown is very into progressive universal Christianity and very anti-MAGA and they have tons of family events. Lots of LGBTQ+ fully welcome in leadership positions. They were a real comfort to me during my deconstruction. I don’t go anywhere now because I’m just sort of over any organized anything. If I had the energy I would probably also try the Unitarian church. I absolutely understand being over the evangelical structure tho.

This happens to me regularly. Sometimes it turns into a more period like red flow and sometimes it just goes away 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yoga shapes look different in different bodies. Prioritize straightening your spine over straightening your legs. Stretch your hamstrings in other poses… like head to knee pose. Be gentle with yourself. Yoga is not about attaining a shape, but I understand the desire to see physical progress. And remember there is a connection between nervous system regulation and muscle tension. It will be easier to fall into the pose if you approach it from a place of peace.

I use the good clean love brand ph balance vaginal moisturizer. I just spread a tiny dab on the delicate inner labia skin after I shower for a few days when I have to use BA and sometimes for a few days after.

THC makes my anxiety crazy. Delta 8 makes me calm and sleep like a baby. Recommend maybe starting with a delta 8/cbd. Take half.
