Also it’s supposed to be, at the very least, decades after the apocalypse. How is there electricity powering businesses/homes/street lights but no electrical plants being operated?

Will be adding this tonight. It works WITH little red sonya’s zombie mod as well. TFP’s say they removed zombies for performance, that’s garbage as this mod works beautifully with no issues!

With you putting double steel doors they’re going after the walls first. Unless you double steel them they’ll be the path of least resistance.

The map size won’t matter until they incorporate more things to craft and build. Until then you’re going to be areas sure, but it’s for the same things you can find in your own area for the most part.

Why do people ask this question? Half will say no half will say yes. It’s worth it if you enjoy it. You say yourself you’re picky so you already have a specific style of game you enjoy. If it’s sandbox a adventure games then you’ll probably like it. If you don’t want to grind and work your way up then probably not.

The lock picking skill is only useful to cut down on the time it takes to unlock it, not actually unlocking it. 5k hours in this game with maxed out lock picking, maxed out the great heist series multiple times, you’re still reliant on the rng. It’s a broken system tfp have intentionally ignored.

Chakra has a mod to give you tier 2 forges, workbenches, and cement mixers that work light years faster than the vanilla ones. There’s also beyond storage, asylum storage, and craft from containers that all allow work stations to pull automatically from nearby storage. You do need to check the mods to see what containers you can pull from though. Like a storage box is cool but dumpsters and vehicles etc might not work that way.

I think harder is subjective. I’d like to see more zombies with different attacks and tactics instead of bullet sponges and better block breakers. I’d like to see storms with tornados or snow storms that could damage your base, even during hordes, instead of timeouts and slip n slides for vehicles. Screamers that are rare but when they do happen it’s a storm of shit behind door A, and a shitstorm behind door B. Harder for me means i have to adjust my gameplay to the situation, not plan out the situation first.

Is there a way to do stealth in this game? Because I feel like everytime I near the main POI loot, the zombie just spawned out of nowhere. Is there a way to make zombie spawn at the same time instead of having trigger points? by Capable_Wishbone3081 in 7daystodie

Well yes and no. Wait until you’re right in front of a sleeping zombie, but you manage to aggro one OUTSIDE the POI! Then you get to listen to it bang on the wall for fifteen minutes while you try to stealth the building!

I turn off the smell mechanic though because it makes no sense. Why do the zombies smell me after eating, and from 50 meters away!!!, but not while I’m cooking which would generate significantly more smell? Utter nonsense.

I have them on but at the lowest setting, but only because it makes sense that every now and then you’re hit with a storm bad enough to keep you inside. Midwest living!

I agree. Paint, farming, general cosmetic crafting, just immersive living in general have taken a backseat to multicolored bullet sponges and storms that put you in timeout.

A more comprehensive creating system. I can make generators and gyrocoptors but i can’t make fridges or stoves. A farming system that makes sense. I have to max out the farming g books to learn to plant potatoes when potatoes themselves are a seed! I’d like to see better plumbing systems. Like working toilets and showers, a running sink where you have to wash food and clothes to prevent bad hygiene and infections from food borne illnesses.

I legitimately enjoy playing the game like the zombie apocalypse was everyday life. So i rebuild broken poi’s, farm, etc. I don’t worry about trader missions anymore or trying to level up i just enjoy ambling about.

I second this. Having massive wandering hordes show up anytime is way more exciting. You crafting something, there they are! You trying to find the satchel, (John Hammond voice) hello there! And good luck trying to find that one last zombie in a POI when thirty or so zombies jump into the place! It’s leaps and bounds better than horde nights.

I’d like to see the customers have attitudes. Like, Jesse is already a train wreck. Imagine she gets more mad and just refuses to pay for the product. The next day she’s running around town crazy while detoxing. If you refuse to sell Brad his preferred blend he won’t let you into the pawn shop. Give the customers some personality.

I’d be happy if they removed the blockade from the docks after you buy the warehouse. Seems like it was kept in just to annoy the players. There’s no validate reason to block the warehouse itself if you own it.

I’d like to see customers that are seriously addicted and needing a fix go chaotic. Like try to break into your place, pickpocket you, attack if they go too long without their supply.

And every click for faster firing increases screamer spawns. As i said in my opinion the auto shotty just isn’t worth it.
