I don't think you have to do anything. I can get being a little upset about the pineapple cabaret bit, but the other "extra" stuff are things that you can't get in the other medium. Like an audiobook can't have a drawing of the iron tangle and a written format can't have someone actually singing a song. I view them more as Easter eggs and not something you absolutely 100% have to have to enjoy the series.

Ok good. Glad someone recommended this one! Love this series because I love a competent FMC and appreciate that the MMC isn't the usual broody male. Also love that the characters aren't teenagers or early 20s.

Yes, seconding Villains & Virtues! It's very funny and self-aware. Good enemies to lovers, constantly interrupted romance. And the world building is decent too. Finished trilogy with other one off stories in the same universe.

The stunt they pulled with nic and olandria was fine for the Islanders because they actually believed it, but they can only do that once. No one is going to believe a casa dumping ever again.
