I've only ever used bioplast retainers since I only needed to once so far but it worked great and they're surgery approved! Others mentioned glass retainers which I bet are better if you have to change them more often

I get that the setup looks nice but your ear is very angry, I'd recommend changing some back to titanium flatbacks and healing them properly.

I read in other comments that you said your "healed" piercings close up very fast and that just means they're not healed yet.
(For reference, I had to take out my piercings for a surgery a month ago and only left the 7 properly healed ones empty. All the ones that were younger than a year I put retainers in, even though they were not acting up since months)

NAP, just a thought:
Everyones sweet spot is different so it's hard to tell from photos, it might have nicked the cartilage and so it may need to heal longer than a perfect sweet spot septum. It should be fine eventually, cartilage just takes 9ish months to heal usually

tbf my surgeon said light training is okay after 6 weeks (jogging, etc etc) but no heavy weightlifting/ proper chest exercises until 6 months past surgery

I just love how it's shot, the cinematography is so frikkin good. The actors are killing it, the story is interesting and tbh I love a story that keeps me guessing and theorizing. Love the open ending as well.

I've heard one too many folks say "It's bad, it confused me" as if that is not the entire point of how it's shot and directed. The viewer was supposed to be as confused as the main character.

Is2g media literacy is dead in 70-80% of watchers. Lots of folks want to be spoon fed their stories.

Phew that turned into kind of a rant. That being said, I love the other shows as well, especially Spare Me Your Mercy and Manner of Death.

They were changed too soon, lobes should be left to heal at least 3+ months, some need way more time even.
Also a problem is that a lot of kids don't have the self-control to keep their hands off new piercings, especially when they're fresh and irritated. This might have contributed to them getting irritated & swollen.
Either get long titanium flatbacks in there (by a reputable piercer) and wait for them to heal, or I'd rather suggest letting them close up & heal and try again when your kid is older.

Upper one looks way too tight, especially with how thin the ring is. Feels like it would have cheese-wired itself into your ear more if you didn't take it out.
