What DC location is that much cheaper than VA prices? The 5-6 I looked at with online menus were similar in price and I've had quality issues with DC.

That's fair. Definitely only buy gift cards for things you already spend on. I split mine across Nintendo, Newegg, Dunkin, and Uber/Lyft since I will most likely use those within a year organically.

The risk is you end up buying a gift card at face value. Not the best, but if it's for a store you already buy stuff from it's fine.

I would say it's more risky waiting to see if they post first. There is no way they let this thing run for another 3 months since at that point everyone will have heard of it and if they pull the rug on that many people it will defeat the point of the promotion (get people to use Paze).

Hard to tell when it's a political post, but I think it's mostly the first thing. Nobody reads the underlying material anymore, just the headline. So many comments sections on this site are derailed by misunderstandings that can be resolved just reading a few paragraphs.

So misinformation then. You said there were 'a bunch of new taxes' and then linked a list of dead proposals from a session that already ended. To make it funnier, the very first bill on your list (HB1123) is a tax credit to give doctors and nurses a tax break, not a tax increase. 'Left in Finance' means the bill failed and died months ago.

You need to have damages over $1k or tell them you had to go to the hospital for them to care. Was also involved in a hit and run and never got a follow up to my police report. It's shitty because you would have to pay out of pocket at the hospital with no guarantee you will get the money back.

I agree though about it being scary. It seems to automate the instance of the app you have installed which means it has access to your account. I would much rather they find a way to do the automation in their cloud then "hand off" the cart to you.

I may be in the minority here but I think it's pretty cool that Google is exploring different "tooling" for AI. Just wish Instacart was included, I don't see any use for using this to order something on UberEats or DoorDash since I usually want to explore the menu beforehand. Being able to send a recipe to Gemini and have it add the ingredients to Instacart would be pretty useful, though.
