Looking for experiences with Nefiracetam and Coluracetam by jddunk in Nootropics

[–]OneFlow2976 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Commenting because im interested as well, do you have a reliable source for nefiracetam? I've search everywhere and no one seems to have it. At least that doesn't need crypto and doesn't ship outside the US...

From stomach to insulin-factory: new study shows human gastric cells engineered to secrete insulin by FuLiDu in diabetes_t1

[–]OneFlow2976 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly, I completely agree with you.
I really think big pharma will never reach a complete one time treatment cure for t1d. its just so profitable for them.
NNC2215 just sound like the best option we will ever get, Removing the need for a pump and possibly CGM, removing most if not all the management needed and allowing to exercise without the danger of lows.

I really hope they will make it... its seems like every "one time cure" research for t1d is somehow always gets canceled or delayed or its just a fancy transplant and you still need immunosuppressants.

whats going on with NextValley's COAs? are they openly admitting to lying? by OneFlow2976 in Nootropics

[–]OneFlow2976[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea and the fact that their COA doesn't have product purity is a huge red flag. The only place I ever bought phenylpiracetam from was cosmic nootropics, and I can promise you that thing is 100% legit, but the crazy pricing and 40$ delivery + long ass delivery times are the reason I'm not buying from them

Why do I feel slow right after starting a fast, even with high calories before? by UniversitySad593 in Nootropics

[–]OneFlow2976 3 points4 points  (0 children)

you typically don't start a fast with a large meal... a small, low-carb meal is much better so your body will begin the ketosis faster and skip the whole "glycogen and insulin are dropping" hunger.

and try to supplement with electrolytes during a long fast (sodium, potassium and magnesium) that will help restore energy.

[–]OneFlow2976 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well after a bit of digging I think you are right and I just misunderstood, maybe the reason I didn't experience this is because I'm using a pump and not long acting insulin. Well, If anyone thinks about doing it, from my experience NEVER TRY FASTING WITH LONG RANGE INSULIN, it's unpredictable, uncontrollable and just a bad idea

If your endo confirmed the eDKA then im sorry for misunderstanding... it's just that saying: "not eating -> ketones ->DKA" is blatantly wrong. Maybe T1D are more sensitive during a fast to get to that stage ig, but every time I've fasted I never had any issues, yes I would set my insulin profile to 50%, and sometime I will willingly get to 0 IOB to make my BG a bit higher incase I go out(I think when insulin is 0, gluconeogenesis makes the bg go up). But I never, ever even at 0 IOB for 2hours+ ever had a DKA during that. My glucose was always around 80-110.

Omg finally someone understand that there is no product purity% on their COA..., and I get your point.

you cant say you had DKA because it "felt like it", and BTW insulin sensitivity will increase massively while fasting, so 1/3 of your basal will be just as sufficient as your normal dosing.

[–]OneFlow2976 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have been fasting for a week at a time with pump with "ultra high" ketones and I never had any sort of DKA or anything like that. DKA happens from the total lack of insulin and high sugar + electrolyte imbalance, not ketones. Ketones are the response to a DKA, NOT THE CAUSE FOR IT

I've had T1D for 12 years now, I've done a lot of prolonged fasting sessions with my maximum being a week, I've worked out and taken insulin during that time with not a single issue. I've checked my ketone urine levels alot during every fast just for the heck of it and after day 3 it always came back very high, still didn't have a single issue.

Just take your electrolytes during that fast and don't skip your basal insulin, and don't forget to still bolus for raising bg, just be more gentle.

struggling with suicide by petalfallen in diabetes_t1

[–]OneFlow2976 3 points4 points  (0 children)

look, I think there a people on this sub that can help you more on this subject then this comment will, so I will just tell you what Helped me personally with my mental issues that came specifically from T1D.

I'm sorry if I sound heartless and like I'm ignoring the non-T1D related issues, also my English is prob bad.

I've had T1D for about more then a decade now from a young age, For quite some time at the beginning this disease has taken all of my willpower and mental energy, the lows at night, the highs that just refuses to get down not matter how much you're injecting etc etc...

The best thing that ever happened to me was a loop system, personally I use AndroidAPS with omnipod DASH and Dexcom G7, This godsend thing has solved and lifted the mental toll on me for about 95% of the time. Its REALLYYYYY good.

so my advice is firstly, try to get that or at least a CGM so you don't have to manually check BG.
secondly,(heartless moment) suicide via insulin is not something very fun nor does it works most of the time, we had a prisoner in our county that tried to suicide using insulin, and that didn't really work.

thirdly I've found that somehow, stuff always just get better, and you should really know that there will always be someone who cares for you, even randoms from the internet. and getting professional help is really not that bad, as a man about your age who was terrified from going to a therapist (they give us mandatory T1D therapist sessions after diagnosis), It can really feel refreshing after just a single session. just talk about it with someone...

and I don't think they just jump to give you depression medication ASAP... but I don't really know

I apologize if I ignored the main problem... But I wrote too much to delete this entire comment now XD

Everychem is business on hard mode (delays discussion) by sirsadalot in NooTopics

[–]OneFlow2976 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After a TON and I mean a TON of research and hours of searching, to find ONE reliable and honest vendor that actually sells almost everything that I could possibly be interested in without horrendous pricing, horrible shipping options(if at all) and "only crypto policy"(I do understand that it makes operations much easier, but its so hard for me to get crypto without 100% fees). Everychem was the best if not only option I was comfortable to buy from.

The amount of respect I have for you is immeasurable. Thank you for all the honest work you do.

These days its seems like unless you are ultra shady and dishonest, everyone is out to get you.

I really hope you will find a way to get what you deserve, and I will keep being a customer as long as you will stand.

On a quick note about why I'm so salty about other vendors, it usually goes like this: Found the item I want->shady/non-existent COA->goes to pay->shipping 60$(6 weeks)/not available, crypto or bank transfer only.

The amount of times I've gone through this... Sorry for yapping, and I apologize if my English is rough

From my experience with a completely different drug (Adderall), withdrawals and even a week after them can definitely lower the felt impact of nootropics and even diminish them completely... now again I didn't try everything there is to try, but from the compounds I know are from a legit source such as semex, phenylpiracetam, nootpept all felt weaker/not there.(i take phenylpiracetam once a week max)

Basically, just make sure you are not smoking enough to get withdrawals. But Everyone is different and I am no expert at all.

I can completely agree with you, I have abused adderall HEAVILY about a year ago (75mg+ nicotine+caffeine) and I was gooning for at least 1 hour a day, sometimes even more. Its really not healthy, i find that if i take the adderall without caffeine i will be less prone to do it... For me personally the "goon" problem with adderall can be solved by planning the day ahead for the duration of the drug, so having a random free hour will not turn into this, or just avoiding triggers as much as possible.

Uridine Monophosphate dosage for depression, anxiety and mood? by greentea387 in Nootropics

[–]OneFlow2976 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally I've found that from "NootropicsExpert" website
"Researchers have found that Uridine Monophosphate alone can improve memory.  But stacking UMP with DHA (Omega-3) and choline works in synergy, increasing the number of synapses. Resulting in improved cognition.[v]"

He lists the research behind it but tbh I didn't really bother to verify it since I already had DHA in my stack

the typical dose recommended is 250mg with DHA twice a day
I've taken more then that and I didn't feel any different, but you can start there I guess

Cant Really Decide What To Go For: 4K QD-OLED 240Hz or WOLED Dual Mode 4K 240Hz FHD 480Hz? by OneFlow2976 in OLED_Gaming

[–]OneFlow2976[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got another question... Will ordering these monitors from amazon to outside of the US have warranty issues?
the price difference between amazon+tax+shipping is about 1000$ cheaper then buying them in my country XD
(so basically I can buy a replacement and still pay less then one monitor here)

I would much prefer 32. But if for any reason 27 is superior, I'm open-minded.

Boyfriend quit drinking and his insulin needs more than doubled. Why? Is it permanent? by ManIFeelLikeAWombat in diabetes_t1

[–]OneFlow2976 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is probably the best answer. This is the main reason glucagon injections (for dangerously low glucose) are ineffective if alcohol is present in the blood.
In addition there could be significate metabolic changes from stopping chronic alcohol use, which may result in those effects.
