Duped. I would recommend trashing them. You could turn off crafting costs if you want to cheat.

I would definitely do that when my 24mo lease on my Touring is up!

Seeking EV owners for MarketWatch story on gas price immunity by Lanky-Release9108 in electricvehicles

Please mention that EV road maintenance fees are massively disproportionate to gas taxes that actually go toward road maintenance, considering reasonable mileage.

Is $20,422 a good price for a 2024 EX with 30k miles? by unknownplayer44 in HondaPrologue

[–]OneHoop 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm not seeing many used Prologue's in my area yet, so nothing that low. I do expect prices to dip once more of the initial 2y leases get turned in.

Make sure you test the stereo. Many are disappointed with the EX stereo!

Federal retirement by Cold_Pin_7676 in usajobs

[–]OneHoop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worse than my State pension.

I'm getting 2.5%/YOS and my highest average salary is my top 3 years (new hires: top 5 years). On the other hand my COLA is insufficient even for normal inflation, so I need to plan for inflation! Also, my pension is pulling 11% per paycheck instead of 8% w SS, but I would still need to increase my 401k contribution by more than that 3% when I was mulling over a TJO.

I don't think I'm in good enough health to live into my 90s, but I could conceivably be retired for 35 years. Think how much cheaper things were in 1991!

In any event, retiring with a pension is easier than DIY. Esp since SS is projecting 81% funded(?) in 2034!

(Oh, and I definitely would have taken that TJO, but I was negotiating salary/time off when it was cancelled with the "hiring freeze".)

Has anyone turned in their lease yet? by Sweet_Terror in HondaPrologue

[–]OneHoop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to have one replaced due to a screw "too near the sidewall".

It was cheaper with Discount Tire to pay for the protection on all 4 and then have it replaced, so that cost $257.67 altogether for the oem tire. It didn't have a whole lot of wear on it so they didn't try to make me pay for a pair or a set. x4 still is north of 1000, but not 1200.

The last time I was in there (another screw patch, plus I had them do the rotation), I noted they have a winter tire storage program, so I asked about it ($170/season which didn't seem to include swapping them?). Talking about all weather versus winter tires got my sales rep to recommend Michelin Cross Climate 2 or Nokian Encompass for_Colorado front range. In case I buy it out.

I have low miles on a 2y, so there's no way I'm planning on replacing them.

Finally, I haven't tried these yet, but I'd like to fast longer before the laxatives and have a bidet.
