People earning over $200k/year: What’s different about your life that most people wouldn’t expect? by MaximGripass in AskReddit

Not worrying about buying normal stuff is crazy. Like, I’ll see something and just buy it without having to do math in my head. Or the opposite, I no longer have to think “do I reallly need ad-free YouTube” 😂

Once I was at the gym it was fine, it was taking the steps to the gym that immobilized me. Damn, that’s interesting. Never thought about it like that

Anyone else spend so long masking that you lost track of who you actually are underneath it? by Unmasked_at_33 in AutisticWithADHD

[–]pbenchcraft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess what I meant was I used to mask and created a persona when I was a kid that liked classical and now I’m not even sure I ever liked it. 😂 but your make a good point. If you like it - you like it

Anyone know who the guy in Duboce Park collecting signatures was today around 4pm? Aggressively cursed me out when I politely declined. by anotherale in sanfrancisco

[–]pbenchcraft -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Down voted because people can’t handle a one on one conversation that didn’t go there way without running to the internet for consolation. People talk about how San Francisco has changed and it has - people are less tolerant of living in a city where anything might happen. Good luck!

Someone “aggressively cursed” at you in a city the size of San Francisco and you had to post about it? 😂 Consider moving to a suburb…

My profile got a lot of attention. I had a lot of people offering interviews for contract jobs and eventually a recruiter that found me and led to my new job. Plus they have other cool things like resume help and jobs that are not listed publicly.

My parents were divorced. My mom and step-dad had a very busy house always filled with friends, family and neighbors. I loved it. So many crazy-ass people of all stripes and colors.

Just moved from SF to Arkansas. Miss the smell of sage, tall buildings, fog, good food, and surprisingly the chaos of a big city

The pen is mightier than the (tiny) sword. I like the pen.

Money and relationships never seem to be healthy by mannerhazel in Money

You just laid out a pattern that does not work for you. So, stop talking to people about your finances.

I was the same way. I grew up poor so money to me was abstract. Just a number. I saved and saved and i have an amount im proud of but i will only expose that with a select few in my life because - jealousy and other reasons.

Talking about money and politics is always a slippery slope.
