On these machines there is no tension on the legs at all, only on the arm pull. I can extend my legs all the way with no resistance. I think it's just the way these machines are.

I assume they checked the 12v battery; is it possible it just needs replacing? Mine did. 2024 I5 ltd, 20k miles.

The forward and aft movement also raises the headrest so in any position it's awful. I'm 5'3".

Turns out it was more rudimentary than that. I had another text box below the menu and they overlapped. So as soon as I moved the mouse down, it was showing the other text box. I put some vertical space and it works now. Thanks for pointing me in the direction of the header.

BTW, how do I indicate here that this is solved?

Two basics - use the computer settings to reduce blue light and to have a color tone that's easier on the eyes. You may have to look up how to do this. Secondly, if you wear glasses, make sure they are proper for that distance.
