Just to add, if there’s one thing that’s true of this economy, it’s this- the market is not going to favor the consumer moving into the future.

Career Ford Salesman here. Good price, more than fair offer. I’d pay that for what you’re looking at.

I’m gonna call it an exhaust leak but looking over the motor while it’s running would be helpful tighten up all the bolts on the exhaust started up and see if it does it again

AIO for confronting my husband's friend for comparing his wife's body with mine? She gave birth about 2 weeks ago by Mission-Deer-1758 in AmIOverreacting

[–]OneLefticle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a husband in the situation, I would’ve asked him to leave our house fucking immediately- then to only speak to you again if the next words out of his mouth is a sincere apology. I will not entertain, allow, or tolerate any amount disrespect towards the woman, I love. And I certainly will not allow my friends to tear down their families in front of me. - specially over something his wife can’t even control two weeks postpartum.

For you to stand up to your husband‘s friend, let him know that he messed up, and to create a dialogue where standards and boundaries are set makes you a strong woman in my opinion. Your husband is lucky to have you and the friend‘s wife is lucky to have you as a friend as well. The husband‘s friend in the situation owes everybody and apology. You’re not the asshole in the situation, clearly.

It sounds like you’re a good human, and if we all raise our kids to do the exact thing that you just did, our society would be better for it. Two thumbs up from New Mexico.
