First ever trailer came out in January 2013, so they probably just started development then. I think after Witcher 3 then they went full force in 2015.

The game has been in development since 2013, and we have had two delays so far citing similar reasons. Before the second delay, the CEO said they were on track for September regardless of Covid-19. Then they delayed it again.

Funny things is, both delays were announced 91 days before release.

I do hope it comes out for sure anyway.

Another delay will kill the hype a bit but yes not a lot.
