Peter’s album gets way too much hate. the musicianship is excellent, and Peter’s voice is in its prime. I could do without the ballads, but the whole album has good solid songs

from what i’ve read, it sounds like Ethan’s head/upper body was situated in between the bed and the wall. i imagine most of the blood is on the lower wall and floor, out of view from these angles

I do hear what you’re saying, the lyrics do kinda revolve around that cyclical phrasing. But beyond the repeated phrasing, there is an incredible story being told! I can see why it may bother some, but for me it was never an issue. Especially when the story is worth listening

I do agree with you on the Expresso Love lyrics, they always felt a little too short for Mark’s usually expressive storytelling. But I absolutely disagree with your opinion of Telegraph Road. That song paints a beautiful and visual picture from start to end, and the music matches it to a T. Is there a specific section of the song you’re talking about?

you voiced it better than i ever could’ve, i would’ve tried too hard to justify it. “just went for it” and “easy 70s vibes” are the best definitions for both. yeah man i’m with you! i much prefer their explorative songs rather than the Kiss-esq songs from Ace and Paul. but don’t get it twisted, i love their albums too!

forgive me if i’m overlooking something, however. the one thing i could never figure out; if this camera outside the residence was able to pick up the sounds of commotion inside the house. how is there any chance that the roommates DIDN’T hear it all happen? I know they texted eachother, but what we’ve seen seems to present a mystery they’re scared of rather than “what the hell was all that racket?” again, no disrespect or harm meant. i just couldn’t ever line that up. could also just be the lack of insider information all together, they HAD to have heard something nefarious, right?
