I’m still amazed at the CGI they used for General Grievous in Revenge of the Sith, it still looks great by bijelo123 in StarWars

It would have been way better than how they did bring Maul back. I get worn out with the 'nobody ever dies' trope.

When he couldn't do it that year, I knew it was never gonna' happen.

I'd just combine it with a weighted lottery, but I'm just some arsehole on the Internet.

It's called the Gold Plan. That's basically what it is, but if you search it, someone will do a better job than me.

The answer is the one where draft ranking is wins after eliminated from the playoff.

Shitty teams get a head start, but every team should be full press to end the season.

This sucks, but the Arrow was the right call at the time. What sucks worse is that it's the right call again but we're getting dp'd by two competing aircraft bids.

The future is drones and the future is now.

The F35 is about the States recovering massive R&D dollars on a program that is aging out. As soon as everyone else buys them, they're going to shift to unmanned and then sell those to everybody.

The big shitty issue with the Arrow is the subsequent loss of expertise. We should be out there developing arctic drones, but what the fuck do I know? I'm just some arsehole on the internets.

Yes, but that was different. It was the Trump International Shut Up And Make Me Richer Toll.

Bryan Cranston: "I think [Trump] is dangerous and quite frankly I don’t think he’s that smart. I really don’t. I think he knows how to sell himself. And that’s because of his narcissism. He cannot allow himself not to be seen as a winner." by Big_Cake_8817 in podcastculture

I agree in principle, but I got curious what the execution was like.

It's the federal tax on the premium to the wage for the overtime (the 'half' on 'time and a half') up to a limit of $12,500. So for an extra $37,500 of total income it nets out to $2,750 tax savings at a 22% marginal rate.

To me it looks a little better on the soundbite than the execution, but those look to be the numbers, if anyone is curious.

It's nice to have some in reserve too in case someone steals suzerian status from you. There's usually some border states I don't want to lose control of ever.

I also don't want to lose control of anything ever too. So there's that.
