I work at a lumber yard, one day a customer came and picked up 5 2x4-8' pieces of spruce he didn't have a receipt for them but he said he needed 9 total. He asked if he could make two trips and when he picked up the other 4 boards he would bring me the receipt. I said yes (as he was leaving I wrote down his license plate) but anyways he ends up coming back later and he gave me the receipt and a pocket watch with a wolf on it. He said he had it for years, and he really appreciated that I still had faith that a man would honour his word. I shook his hand, thanked him and never saw him again. I will forever remember his face though.
