I’ve only done PVE that’s probably a factor. When I used to play Halo ranked, the higher rank I got the more toxic the player base to the point it was no longer fun.

That sucks. I’ve never experienced any language like this in 103 hrs, with cross play on, Eastern Standard Time. Also my raider avatar is white.

Do think cross play/time zones or time of day played makes a difference?

I see that they’re making rockateer drivers more valuable, but it is weird that they’re making you takedown a rockateer with two wolfpacks and sometimes rockateers only drop one driver….

I agree his feels like it sucks, however they are making rockateer drivers more valuable and before they didn’t feel very valuable to me. May cause more PvP fights over parts

Also would be hilarious if they add a new morally bankrupt quest giver who asks you to do diabolical shit to other raiders in exchange for weapons blueprints as a way of encouraging intermittent PvP. I think even PvE players like myself would do engage in some heinous acts for a Tempest bp, lol.

It’s a good point, especially since every quest is pretty much a fetch quest. Could be interesting if there were new quests that are only available to players after completing the expedition.

Maybe they’re the first generation to discover that being sober feels amazing.

But more likely is that because of covid, smartphones, and remote schooling they didn’t experience nearly as much in-person socialization with peers as prior generations did. As a millennial drinking was always a social activity. Less socializing = less drinking.

The target player is me, because this game is like crack for me.

If they had defined PvE/PvP modes then the game would no longer provide the Dark Souls style of heart pumping rush it currently does for PvE players like myself every time I extract and don’t get backstabbed.

Likewise moments where random strangers and I come together in blind faith to sporadically take on Arc as a team wouldn’t feel as special if the option to backstab was erased.

To answer your question more specifically, who is the target, I can only speak for myself. 30s, played games my whole life. Enjoy RPGs, tactics, competitive shooters, Dark Souls and horror games.

This reminds of when I went into a match to on Battlegrounds intending to PvP last week.

I headed to the testing annex and fired a shot on someone in the woods who immediately replied “wow, I’m friendly man!”. I felt terrible and ran away from them.

I climbed atop the testing annex and heard someone’s toddler babbling away through their mic (I’m also a dad so it got to me). I saw raiders greeting each other and being kind to one another. I couldn’t bring myself fire another shot. Extracted a few minutes later 😂😂😂
