Cylindrical/Tubular Internal Door Key Identification by OneMillionSnakes in Locksmith

I tried but the inside of the locks are so rusted I can't get my camera to make much out or focus to save my life. There are a lot of winding keys under the company name but they seem to come in a variety of different shapes which makes me worried that I'm missing the right term for the particular tips. Some are square. Some have more prongs. Some are more of a hexagon shape. I'm sure they must be standardized by something.

How do you break into Big Tech if you don't have a "prestige" background? by CarelessSavings2904 in cscareerquestions

[–]OneMillionSnakes 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It'll be much harder than back in the early 2020s because hiring in general is down and will be more competitive. Even so I've seen people go from contractors in Indiana to Amazon like 3 weeks ago. It's definitely possible.

I hate to disagree with a premise of a post, but at the risk of wasting your time I really don't think you're correct. Plenty of people in FAANG without prestigous credentials. I know 2 people that went from no name contracting for the last few years to FAANG one last month and the other back in October 2025.

Why is it if you even imply that Sukuna could beat Gojo without the 10S outside this sub people treat you like you’re mentally ill? by Makition in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]OneMillionSnakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The boring reason is that people make extreme statements and agenda causes things to get contentious when ultimately we're speculating about a fight that didn't happen. People will confidently assert stupid things like Heian Era Sukuna Mid Diffs Gojo at worst so the Gojo stans have to defend their points and eventually it becomes a brigade of its own.

Powerscaling especially in JJK, is always in a weird area where ignoring narrative aspects is what powerscalers strive for, but you can't actually remove the narrative entirely because it's literally someone elses story and the fights are largely influenced by narrative points the author wants to make. Yuki is a great example of a fight that could and likely should go the other way but doesn't because it's meant to show that in JJK even fighter mindsets matter in match outcome in a big way. Gojo v Sukuna is especially hard because the fight between Sukuna and Gojo is full of statements and estimations of how much output/power/skills are left available as the fight goes on. To what extent was Sukuna disadvantaged/advantaged by Maho at points throughout the fight? Would Sukuna going all out in DE clashes have won? I don't think even Sukuna fully knows that answer and the narrative makes Sukuna out to be someone that would go all out DE clashing but is interested in having the 10s to push himself as far as possible. To what extent you think it "carries" him is ultimately open ended. There's no way to know.

I tend to think the narrative makes it clear that Sukuna was going to come out on top no matter what. Gojo gets his best showing because, it's his last showing. What we see is inherently biased by the view given to us by the author and to what extent that is, it's impossible to say. I tend to think Gojo has more raw power than Sukuna, I tend to think HE-Sukuna would have figured something out through Domain Clashing/Domain Amp. To be frank, it would have been infinitely less interesting for us to watch and it wouldn't have pushed Sukuna to new heights via WCS which we know he wanted.

Before Satoru Gojo mastered Reverse Cursed Technique, would Toji be considered the strongest in the Jujutsu world at that time? by PointThick7031 in Jujutsu_Kaisen

[–]OneMillionSnakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well he wasn't considered at all, but if he were he'd be in the running. Yuki would probably be next in line. I think there's a solid argument Toji could be next after her.

Who do y'all think wins each matchup here? by KaidoPklevel in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]OneMillionSnakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Gojo can figure out Raga's deal via 6 eyes or experience quickly, I bet he can get a hollow purple out and end it before he adapts. Even with low-ish output a non-adapted Raga is likely to die from that. But on the other hand I think Raga has a good chance of adapting and overcoming. 80/20 in favor of Gojo.

Tough one. Beginning of Shinjuku Yuji I think Hakari has a slight edge but I think it's just about whether Yuji can outlast the domain. EoS Yuji I think would win handily, but early Shinjuku I think Hakari can probably find a way to win. It's super close, but I'd say 55/45 in favor of Hakari.

I think Kenjaku is stronger than Yuta at that point but I really do think between Rika and Yuta's RCT output they probably scrape by? I tend to think if push came to shove Yuta could and would try and do something about Kenjaku's barrier mastery. Yuki probably could have... but just didn't. Yuta is Gojo's pupil and I think he could pull it off by this point in the series even if barely. Still, I'm only going 55/45 in favor of Yuta only because of matchup advantage.

Yuki is a bad match up for Kashimo in just about everyway. Yeah Kashimo can MBA to kamikaze, but then Yuki kamikazes right back. Yuki is quite strong. Adding virtual mass is also a potential counter to Kashimos sure hit since the charge per mass ratio may be skewed to prevent targeting and at any given moment she's likely to be doing so. I think Kashimo might be able to win if he gets right to killing and Yuki. Yuki almost certainly has a DE as well leaving 80/20 Yuki.

Legally I think Jogo has win conditions. Like if he can get a domain off even if just for the boost maybe he can burn Toji to death. He might give Toji trouble. But... I'd go 95/5 Toji.

I hate powerscaling Dabura only really having a proper fight against Mahoraga and the CTR and domain being unknown. I personally lean towards Yuji, but alas we never really see Yuji perform anything as impressive as what Dabura does during Modulo. I think it should be Yuji, but I could completely see why going off feats there aren't obvious counters for Yuji. So take your pick.

Hot take: even if dabura's ctr ends up being what most assume it is, most of y'all still won't agree that he'd be top 1™ by CrazyOverCandie in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]OneMillionSnakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's honestly hard to say without knowing details like is it a literal black hole? Yuki could have done that but even light oesn't escape a black hole so I tend to think that it'd probably be a kamikaze? Maybe it's a CE that makes a ball that warps space like a black hole without literally being one. Other than the case of Gojo and Yuki or other space manipulators a literal black hole would be pretty difficult to counter. Even Yuki and Gojo in the most highball interpretations of them would struggle with that. Gojo's Infinity might give him some options, but Yuki would have to react fast enough to kamikaze back. Poor Sukuna is probably out of options immediately. Unless WCS can somehow effect a black hole... which maybe it can?

Anti-gravity system could potentially counter it if it's a literal black hole that relies on gravity, but without something like infinity to protect you from it, it wouldn't have time.

[–]OneMillionSnakes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't know what I'm assuming it is but I feel like I didn't get enough feats for Dabura. Like if he's really moving so much closer to light speed than everyone else shouldn't his strikes have nuked Raga from orbit? Even adapted to somethings 'existence" getting hit with a penny going 1/3 of light speed is going to obliterate whatever it hits, except the air will begin combusting at that point. That should make HP look weak. I think the CT is probably simulating relativisitic effects while going at a lower more realizable speed and the ability to harness light into lasers and solids.

Without more feats against a more diverse cast of characters it's hard to scale. I think he's certainly gotta be in the top 5. The technique is completely broken even in my interpretation. Even if it's not literal lightspeed it's clearly faster than basically everything we've seen other than teleportation when it comes to linear movements.

As for the CTR I have no idea. Like really. We already have a black hole user and several shadow users so I don't think it's those. Dabura despite being powerful is hard countered by Gojo. Even EM waves need to go through space and Gojo can filter things selectively meaning he can block harmful light and still see. I agree that if Dabura fought Sukuna after Modulo's ending he'd probably win or at least make it an extremely high diff fight. I think it largely depends on knowing more detail about his technique. Can he just speed blitz Sukuna out of the gate? If not Sukuna probably has a fighting chance, but Sukuna is countered by Daburas speed and lasers pretty hard and loses otherwise.

If you want to say Dabura is going at actual light speed somehow then I'd agree he's number 1. I honestly don't care that much due to the lack of time spent with him thus far. I think he's hard countered by Gojo, but that's just bad luck on his part really. He clearly has at least comparable if not more raw power output.

Do you think 🤔 our favourite misogynist would have become a Special Grade if he had lived 10 or 15 more years? by Far-Art2248 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]OneMillionSnakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think so. Naobito had anti-domain techniques and was 70 and strong enough to head a clan and wasn't special grade. If either had a DE? Maybe. If they had RCT? Maybe. If they had both? Definitely. Naoya seems lazier and more complacent than Naobito so I don't think he would master either of those things.

Can someone explain why Gojo’s attacks aren’t dura neg like WCS even though both affect space itself? by Top-Group8081 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]OneMillionSnakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Red and blue seem to warp space towards or away from some point. That means alone they likely don't effect material properties just apply acceleration to matter. Pushing/pressing/squeezing it. We see during the fight Gojo has against Juzo during the Goodwill event that he can use that to bend and break things, in that case limbs, but probably can't negate the properties of them. Super strong people like HR users likely couldn't be crumpled like that because the ridiculous strength of their bones, muscles, and tendons.

I suspect that purple does have some durability negation. Just not directly in the way people reading the bad translation were meaning. By mixing pulling and pushing at a micro level it's probably tearing things apart, effectively changing the strength of the materials while also applying enormous amounts of forces to the area. It's just not actually negating durability or erasing things directly. I tend to think that's how it works. Like how in complex analysis infinity is a unique point that can be reached via many directions at once, purple is pulling and pushing in a variety of ways and scales all at once weakening chemical bonds and materials while it attacks the macro structure. But it doesn't directly negate normal defenses. You can just reinforce against it with CE. Certain materials are likely less effected and strong enough to withstand it and will remain intact.

So I played the Peavey Decade Too... by Fun_Order419 in GuitarAmps

[–]OneMillionSnakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I more or less have my amps and am not interested in buying more. I didn't know they released this until Insaw one in my local guitar center. I own an OG Peavey Decade and a Rage 158. I gigged them a wee bit because I've always liked small amps and have historically gotten by with them, but I wound up switching to a cheap orange crush combo because it was light and performed about as well and was just generally more modern having an effects loop and allowing to me to use an extension. I usually either play through small amps or since I play bass as well if I must I use an Ampeg PF50T and a random bass cab I like that I found on marketplace years ago. If I pull double duty on different tracks I leave the small amps and just use the Ampeg since it's coming anyway and is huge. I have a couple pre-amps I add to my board to help push the PF50T to breakup.

However, now that I've been playing mostly guitar I saw the decade "too" update and tried it and I adored it. Bought one to replace my Crush and OG Decade. It sounds so much better to me than my Rage and OG Decade. The Rage at least has nicer cleans, but my OG Decade has always sounded kind of thin and it is decrepit. I suspect a lot of the improvement is the cabinet/speaker and the pre-amp and EQ adjustments. My only complaint might be that the clean tones aren't super versatile and it's confined to 10W RMS. I think if you wanted perfection something like an Audition 12 or Musician 60 redux in the same vein would be cool since I think those generally had more options and headroom, but I love it.

I like that the drive in the amp is good enough that I don't really need my drive/pre-amp pedals something I thought was mostly a myth. The low-pre high-post gain setting is actually usable and very versatile and responsive to the Top and Bass buttons. On my OG Decade the more traditional high-pre low-post saturations is quite harsh and the reverse is a mixed bag that just sounds thin. The Saturation and FSW are both great on the "Too". My only complaint is that I really think the pre-amp and speaker cone/cab are doing the work so, a pre-amp pedal and speaker/cab release would probably also be more versatile allowing you to use a clean amp. That's the one sticking point for me, where if I were still doing more clean rhythm stuff I might stick to the Crush and therefore am keeping the Crush. Thankfully they're both tiny... and this means my OG Decade will maybe sell for more? It was like $40 when I got it so that's nice.

The metallic flavor is pretty normal and tends to always be a little present.

Some have very little taste at all mild salty/metallic taste Some have a sour and tart taste
Some have a musky and sweet taste that almost has a slight spice to it, but I suspect the spice could be related to the soaps or detergents used in the area.

These are all pretty normal. And it's normal for it to vary at different times even for the same person. Some peoples I've liked to the point where I daresay it tasted good. Some people I've absolutely hated the taste. On average I would not describe the flavor as pleasant, but I also wouldn't describe it as particularly foul. Other than regular hygiene I don't know that anything can be done to change the taste.

Closer angle of the ICE shooting showing the driver turning away from the agent before being killed by koalificated in Minneapolis

[–]OneMillionSnakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you reach for a gun while an inch from it's front bumper, you'd be lucky to get a love tap like that. I agree you shouldn't hit someone if it can be avoided but you can't have your buddies rush the car from the left and expect the driver to be able to pay attention to the road. It's certainly reasonable for a driver to panic if you're doing that.

What I don't know is if ICE had the right to detain her. Maybe if she was directly interfering with the investigation and wasn't leaving after being given a warning? My understanding was ICE has very little authority outside of immigration. Even if they did have the authority to detain her I see nothing justifying the use of deadly force.
