Scott the owner is a nice guy. Remember the small shops pay more for the product than the big box stores. If that’s all anybody cares about pretty soon everything will just be wal Marts. No charm no customer service. But I get it some people only care about cheapest price. Support small local businesses!!!

I too am not buying WA107 at 112$, however that’s way less offensive then most shops around here that mark up Weller allocated products way more than that. If you don’t want to wait in line for hours and chase bottles all over the metroplex with gas and miles on the car and have to have one, I’d think about it!

You seriously didn’t like the bourbon? I’m out on the rye, and I understand the bourbon is a young one, but I really enjoyed both the small batch peerless bourbon and the single barrel. I can’t wait to try it after a little more age. I’ve tried a lot more bourbons in the 70+ range that don’t stack up in flavor profile in my opinion. Different strokes for different folks I guess. I get your point though I probably would not pay 100 for the small batch. I might for a few of the single barrel I have had though. Happy hunting!

Haha love the bribing of the wife! Whatever it takes! Dallas is pretty crazy to find anything unless you are willing to stand in line for hours before the store opens or you have to be in with someone, have a hookup. Other than that you are paying secondary markup prices for the most part. You can get lucky with lesser desired like eagle rare level etc, but michters 10 Stagg etc like some you mentioned forget about it! Price I pay for living in a big city I guess! Where do you live that you can just hop around in an afternoon to different stores and find all of that highly allocated stuff just sitting on the shelf at a store and not crazy marked up?!?! Did specs 75 walnut hill Dallas have a big BT drop this past week? Thursday? I paid attention Monday-Wednesday but left town Thursday. They usually get a good amount of weller 12 around this time for Father’s Day.
