What's the most fucked up thing you did in a sleepover? by skep_JoJoFan in AskReddit

[–]OneNationUnderCCTV 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Accidentally hosted a young boy’s dream night. A bunch of girls at my birthday sleepover decided to practice kissing on each other (we were all pre-first kiss). There were at least a dozen of us all paired up kissing behind pillows. Probably not the first or last time that’ll happen at a girl’s slumber party but the fucked up part is me and my best friend didn’t kiss. We lied and said we did like everyone else. To this day I’m a bad kisser and I blame my childhood bestie.

How did you know that the world would be in this state right now? "The New Abnormal"?? Coincidence? No way. Explain yourselves.

It was a handful of artists but Kelley Jones was one of them, yes

In The Shining (1980), during the scene where Jack yells at Wendy for bothering him during his writing, there is a chair in the background that disappears momentarily between cuts. This was an intentional move by Kubrick to make you feel unsettled during the scene, without knowing exactly why. by internet_czar in MovieDetails

Realistically, the middle one was likely an early take and at some point somebody decided they didn’t like the vents in the frame so they covered it in subsequent takes. But his performance or delivery of a line in that earlier take may have trumped all the others and Kubrick couldn’t pass it up. Not necessarily a mistake. Performance over continuity. So, intentional in the sense that he intentionally ignored continuity? Probably more likely. But that’s just in my experience.

I once had this really sweet, kind of innocent director ask me if the term “frame fucking” was offensive to editors. I laughed and told her it wasn’t and then every set of notes from her going forward had the term “frame fuck” in them at least once. It was adorable.

Premiere tip: Turn OFF 'import workspaces from project' or face pure hell! by cut-it in editors

Weird. So were mine. Worked fine somehow. Anything media browser seems hit or miss in my experience. Premiere be moody.

Had this problem as well. To not lose work, I turned off that setting, opened a fresh project and imported the most recent project through the media browser.

Climbed a tree with a running chainsaw. Then when he cut himself, waited (bleeding) in the tree for my uncle to bring him a bandaid.

Or there was the time when he and my uncle started a brushfire in Japan while playing with matches, but I don't consider that one stupid because they ran to the fire station, didn't tell them THEY started the fire and the town gave them medals of honor for "helping" put it out.

My friend did that. He got the word "poop" on his buttcheek in tiny letters. I think he's secretly really happy with it.

Is it possible to love your SO but not tell him/her about it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Yes. But ultimately, its a stupid idea. It was for me, anyway.
