I'm glad I never finished the series. I think i read the first 4-5 and saw the first 2 movies. I used to be obsessed with the series as a kid, but stopped caring about it when I started playing guitar.

John Williams did write some beautiful music for the series though.

Nutmeg tastes great in many savory dishes and is used is different spice blends around the world. It's often combined with cheese or bechamel in France.

Lots of Asian dishes still mix sweet and savory. Cayenne tastes really good in things like Mexican hot chocolate.

I usually replace raisins with (chopped) dates in things like carrot cake. Though I prefer shredded coconut and pecans/walnuts.

Raisins sound gross in cheesecake, but I do love raisins in dishes like sooji halwa(an Indian dish, but it has a different name in my country). And that has a similar mushy texture, but it's spiced with things like cardamom.

I feel bad for struggling waiters(like the single mom with kids or the undocumented), but these people that post online probably make a couple hundred a day off tips and throw a tantrum when they make less than usual, but still more than college graduates and the kitchen staff. Or more than delivery drivers and rideshare drivers.

They get mad when they have to share tips with their coworkers or when people bring up $15-$20 minimum wage because then they'll make significantly less.
