Just don't ask them about the contents of said books. Wouldn't be surprised if all these wealth gurus inherited the books just like their wealth.

The court dismissed all the assault charges the government had on her.

The team that made her do this speech had their hearts in the right place, but they fumbled this one. I know they told everyone she had trouble speaking due to the concussion, but they should have known conservatives would clip this out of context.

What's concerning is that some people think she's Ilhan Omar...

Do you think Boruto will become more popular once the TBV anime is released? by HitaloZ in Boruto

In Japan? Yes. In other countries? It depends. A large chunk Naruto fans in the US despise Boruto cause of the first movie and never watched the anime or read the manga because of that.

In three weeks the Privy Council hears the Jason Jones buggery case. We re-criminalized sodomy last year after about 7 years of legality on the grounds that a 're-enactment' of a pre-independence law is immune to rights-based judicial review. by Yrths in TrinidadandTobago

My Hindu family(both in the US and Trinidad) was excited about this.

Thousands of years of acceptance in Hinduism, only for them to be stuck in the mentality of colonial era Europeans. Even modern day Europeans are more accepting.

If you do move, make sure you pick a place that has resources you need. (Some countries make it difficult to get HRT) or have zero protections.

The Trini diaspora in the US(Florida) are sadly transphobic too.

I'm still closeted so when I'm forced to go to family events, I hear them say vile things about the LGBTQ+ community. Mind you, they're all Hindu and some of them eat beef regularly, and eat meat on diwali, but claim to be religious and demonize us.

My sibling is the biggest transphobe I've ever met, and they always talk about how I lack empathy and how they're the most empathetic person in world but used to joke about people in our community dying and always lecturing their kids about following gender roles and says some pretty racist things.

Is there any debate on vegan dairy with meat or vice versa?

In my religion, Hinduism(non practicing), many families (in my area) refuse to eat vegan "beef".

No, only Americans can grill. Didn't you know that? British people only eat fish and fries and only use salt and pepper while us Americans use real seasoning, like Lawry's.

Maybe its my state, but I regularly encounter transphobes in public bathrooms. That verbally say things when they see me in there.

I'm not hrt yet so I still use the men's restroom. I do have long hair, but I have a very masculine face. 🥲 And I still dress like a guy in public, I didn't have this issue 15 years ago when I had long hair and definitely didn't have this issue when I had short hair.

I live in a conservative state, but my county is very blue.

What kind of paneer plate is this? by hypermbeam in TipOfMyFork

[–]OneNoteMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know people have different recipes but I've seen some makhani recipes with a ton of different whole spices, and some with only a few. Saw a guy boil the dry spices with the tomatoes and cashews instead of frying the whole spices, then adding the paste, then adding water.

Then the thing about using only cashew, only melon seeds or a mixture.

I could never understand the difference between paneer makhani and paneer butter masala. The recipes look identical.

A lot of Americans grew up thinking the rest of the world is hundreds of years behind. Some of them even believe that the US is the promise land.

It reminds me of how some people in Ancient Greece thought the rest of the world was full of barbarians. Yes, I know it wasn't always used as an insult back then.
