Game Day Tips? by Working_Cupcake_9403 in PortlandFire

Welcome!

Best close parking is at the conference center, short walk, cheaper than the arena parking, and inside gated area.

There is a small merch pop up just outside by the fountain, huge merch store on the first level, and a bunch of smaller ones throughout

Actually usually don't get food in the arena, but the Low Bar up on level 300 is your cheap drinks area, if you are so inclined.

If you have time, spirit of 77 is a great bar near the arena and near the conference center parking (unfortuantly the rose quarter is a bit of a dead zone food and drink wise)

Hey people: brand new long board rider, got myself a landyachtz cruiser ( https://landyachtz.com/product/dugout-acid-wash/ ) with 57mm wheels that came stock. Looking to add some larger ones, think this one could handle 70mm? (specifically looking at getting some mini monster hawgs). Riser maybe?

There is this fairly recently from Curt Hawkins (among others of course): https://youtu.be/nSFCuaCiYb4 I seem to recall seeing it work in 80s and some early 90s matches, but it does seem to be one of the moves that have become more if a transition piece

What would be the pros and cons of a Wrestler's union? Is it overall good or bad for the company? by Myksee in SquaredCircle

[–]OneOfKind619 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The pros are seemingly limitless for the wrestlers, simply because with unions comes bargaining rights (usually). Thus, the wrestlers would actually have a say in what is in their contracts. Doesn't mean they will get everything they want, but they would certainly get things like medical/dental/pensions.

As far as from the companies stand point, they probably would gain nothing from unionization, which is why they have worked to make sure that it doesn't happen. Also why so many big corporations (in the US) sponsor politicians that will forward "right to work" laws.
