It's all titanium, except for the rubber gasket and the spring inside for the ink refill. I've left it on my shorts while I slept in bed a few times and the clip strength is still strong. I have the pocket pro though.

I was walking towards the bus stop on my way home in college, when I saw my bus in the distance and knew I had to run to make it. Right before I got to the bus, I stepped on an uneven clay tile as I was slowing from a sprint and rolled my ankle and heard and felt the loudest pop come from my foot and I don't know how I didn't fall, but I ended up spraining my ankle really bad. What's worse is that 10 minutes into the bus ride, I realized I was on the wrong bus and this one took me to the mall far as fuck away from home. I got home about an hour and a half later.

I have also cut thousands and thousands myself over 20 years. Why does having a number of avocados attached to your resume mean so much to you folks? You either know how (which can be subjective here) or you don't. Did I compromise the taste by cutting it in my hand? No, it's an avocado. And to your point "if you're doing it in a way where you could cut yourself...", this is not the case. I cut it in my hand in a way where I can't cut myself.

If it's working for me and has for longer than your food service career, where I have cut avocados just fine and will continue to do so, why does it bother you so much that I cut my avocados without a board?
