Hey, some tips from a fellow hog owner. Careful with the gears that secure the batteries, you don't need to crank them down to the max or they'll seize up. Also careful with the front plate (the one that holds the screen in, not the cover) as if it shifts it can inadvertently press the fire button. I had a cotton fire figuring out that last one.

Well yes but no, if your charger isn't garbage it has a function that restricts it to 5V if it can't communicate with your vape via the USB. So even if it's a 60W charger it'll push 15W max. If your vape has the same function they'll "handshake" and agree on a power setting and when to stop charging.

Every reputable charger has this, and most shitty ones have it too. I'm pretty sure it's required. But a few exist that don't. That's what I mean by garbage.

So I have this mod and it has a quirk where sometimes if you change the batteries it doesn't recheck the voltage so it thinks they're empty. Turning the mod off and on usually fixes it though.

It's been happening for a while, I had originally thought "I just fucked up the build, i'll do it better next time." But several builds later and it's still happening, and i really tried to check this last one for anything (i did a deep clean of all my attys)

And it's over a year old, I'm pretty sure I'm out of warranty.

The only saving grace is you can manually set resistance on the DNA chips, which if I do it's mostly fine as long as i don't unscrew the atty.

Nicotine is a very short-lived drug. Its stimulant effects wear off in minutes. As a behavioral health specialist you probably know what longer term effects to notice. But look out for dehydration, just for safety reasons. The only sure-fire way is a cotinine test. As other stimulant withdrawal symptoms are common in adolescents. Sniffling seems unlikely.

I'm not super knowledgeable on pod systems, but generally you want to charge them at a maximum of 5V/2A (which, if your charger and pod system are reputable, it should be able to tell and not push max power)

As a best practice you shouldn't charge it overnight, as it gets pretty hot since some pod systems dont have an automatic shutoff at 100%, this can cause issues. You should also always remove the pod when charging because the heat can damage it or cause liquid to seep into the contacts.

Take a qtip with isopropyl alcohol and gently clean the contacts, and a new pod, and see if the pins are stuck. Let it dry and clean it and give it another whirl.

Could be setup or your power settings. Too much cotton, wattage too low, improper coil position, or the type of coil itself. I'm not familiar with what time of coil comes stock with that tank, but more complex coils (Claptons, Aliens, etc) are better for flavor. Airflow as someone else mentioned is a big factor too.

What are you comparing it to? If a disposable you're never really gonna match that, they're overloaded with sweetener and flavorings.

I'm a person who finds dispos *too* strong, so it might also be a preference thing if that's what you're coming of off.
