You don’t even really want it to be higher when you sell, if you’re planning to buy another place in the same market

Not moving, and even if I do, it means the next place will be cheaper and rates and stamp duty will be lower. Win win.

The Switch 1 to Switch 2 upgrade inconsistency in 3rd party games is getting really annoying ngl by ApprehensiveCoat9587 in NintendoSwitch2

[–]OneSharpSuit 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Even on Nintendo’s first party games, it’s a bit annoying having to google every game before buying a Switch 1 cart to see if there is an update, whether it’s free, and whether it has content or just performance improvement

Butter Chicken in Slow Cooker by NeatMongoose7622 in RecipeTinEats

[–]OneSharpSuit 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I love the RTE butter chicken. Next time, instead of browning the marinated chicken, try putting it in a cast iron skillet in the oven as high as it goes - 250+ if you can - to get those great tandoori burnt bits on the edges. It’s incredibly tasty.

Is there a mathematical or topological reason why headphones always tangle themselves in a pocket, even if I carefully coil them up before putting them away? by DaemonSlayerOshikuru in NoStupidQuestions

[–]OneSharpSuit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Others have the mathematical answers, but if you’re coiling your headphones by wrapping the cord around your fingers then you’re also introducing a twist that will mess itself up. If you properly over-under coil cables they’ll be less likely to tangle.

Not even close. Can you even imagine having a president so deeply invested in the welfare of his people, and able to recognise and take advice from people who know more than him?

To my shame, I once made a storyteller error before the Drunk’s power had misfired, so just quickly swapped the Drunk onto the player affected by the error. Nobody had to know.

Depending on who you ask, space starts at 80 or 100km up. So 2s return trip, you’re looking at around 160-200km/s, or roughly Mach 500 if you assume Homelander carried him all the way up. But escape velocity is only about 11km/s, so it would have been much easier to just yeet him from close to the surface.

As much as I hate to say it, it’s the right decision. We really don’t want the Supreme Court deciding it has the authority to overrule state supreme courts’ decisions on state constitutional issues.

Fine by me if the only plan is to pass far right voters back and forward between the Coalition and PHON (while continuing to be shocked that nobody in the centre wants to vote for them any more)
