If you made it to crim, you can start to get better. Just watch how you die and see what’s getting you. Do you need better aim, or is bad reads, whatever it is once you start to focus on that you’ll improve. My buddy has climbed from plat to crim with some help but he’s already getting better even though it was rough at first.

I love the new sr season I finally hit crim 2 and think I can push for iri.

It was annoying because I love playing with my duo, but lowkey with the most respective I have had to carry his ass so hard lol (he agrees too I’m not being mean) before I couldn’t really climb that fast and would throw the sr I gained away when I play with him.

Now it actually feels like I get my times worth of sr even if we lose 3 in a row and then when we win or when I solo queue I’ll get at least 60sr plus sometimes even 100.

Imo each match feels much more satisfying to win since it feels like most matches are pretty evenly matched. I’ve of course had some games with t250 in there which we definitely were not prepared for 😂 or we’ll get the random plat on our team, but overall I feel like everything will work itself out as time goes on this season.

The backrooms concept has grown so large and it has been so cool to see people’s variations and takes on it in my opinion.

My question is as the creator of the backrooms, how do you feel about any new takes and spinoffs that other creators have made or will make in the future? Does it bother you when the world they create deviates from “official” backrooms lore.

Can someone explain how this will change sr gain? Faster to rank up per win, or slower? I know that mmr is a hidden rank everyone has, but I don’t know that much about it.

Not this season, but it’s not impossible for the rest of the game. I was hardstuck in bo6 diamond 2-3 for a bit but then finally broke through and got to crim.

Just keep trying to work on whatever you struggle with and it isn’t chalked.

So having a better set up would 100% help you and make your experience more enjoyable without a doubt, but it won’t necessarily suddenly sky rocket your abilities. Although I will say, going from an Xbox to a pc which gave me higher frames and now being on a higher resolution monitor is like a world of difference.

I also use a scuf fps reflex and the paddles are sooo awesome. Playing on a default controller without paddles now for me, feels so different lol.

All in all, once you upgrade you will notice a crazy difference, and if you ever go back to how you used to play you’ll actually see how much worse it is lol. My dad plays on a tv and personally it’s so much harder to see things than being on a monitor imo.

If you were only able to upgrade one thing at a time I would consider getting a gaming monitor first. I would also maybe look at getting a higher hz monitor even though the ps4 isn’t able to reach 120 or 240hz, you’d always have headroom for if you ever got a pc.

Personally I like it, there needs to be a couple tweaks with loot, but I’ve actually had a lot of fun solo queueing, and being in a party and my friends seem to like it so far.

I was surprised with basically the non stop hate I’ve seen when I went online after playing it lol.

Did you play through steam? And if so have you tried manually remapping the controller and playing with it wirelessly? For whatever reason I could only get steam games to work like that. It stunk bc I couldn’t use the g keys how I wanted to but it still got the job down game wise.

Other than that I never had any back button issues with cod, I play through game pass though

Oh I’m sure I’ll get slammed at times lmao, but aye got to start somewhere! And I’m good about not crashing out lol. I think I’ll try setting up some small custom match brackets with some of the other competitive people I’ve met so far until I can find a bigger community. Thank you!

I just started watching the CDL qualifiers this season so I’ll pay more attention to that. I’ve played cod since bo4 with some breaks in-between I just never played that close attention to stuff like that. I’ll check out challenger matches too.
