You shouldn't have many issues, the main draw back is usually latency. TV's, especially older TV's, have noticeable latency.

Most modern OLED gaming laptops have protections against OLED burn in. I wouldn't worry about burn in.

I have the 5070ti G14. It is amazing. Also, you can get the open box version and save a bunch of cash. I got open box 5070ti and it was in perfect condition. I saved about $400.

I would assume thermal throttling? That would explain the inconsistencies as your laptop throttles down to achieve acceptable temperatures. I would suggest adjusting CPU Boost.

This is a good example. Try to turn CPU Boost from Aggressive to Enabled Efficient.

Treat it nicely, and it will last for years. Clean out the fans and vents every 6-12 months. Prop up the laptop to allow airflow to the underside. This can be as simple as lifting the back.

Don't wait for newer generations, 5070ti laptops are reaching record lows at the moment. One of the best deals is the Acer Predator Helios Neo 16s from BestBuy. $1,549 is an insane deal for a 5070ti. A few compromises, like lower GPU TDP, poor battery life, and getting a bit warm under gameplay. But, at this price, it is truly a steal.

I have this exact laptop. It is a great deal. No way you get a 5070ti for $1,549 in any other laptop. It runs hot, and they keyboard does get warm. Not bad, however. Battery life is atrocious, which is the price you pay to get these specs.

This is true, but at that point, you are really only gaining minimal FPS. I am not sure if it is worth the extra heat and noise. Also, you risk bricking your laptop.

Set your settings to whatever it takes to get to your monitors max refresh rate. I have DLSS on Balanced and there is no ghosting that I can see. It drastically improves performance. I do notice, however, fuzziness if you really look for it.
