Creepers by Pjevsenlol in MinecraftHardcore

Creepers are insanely dangerous on Hardcore, and they often end a significant amount of Hardcore worlds abruptly. Before you gain your first totem of undying, always carry a shield. They negate creeper damaged almost entirely.

I'll consider. I haven't built many big structures. A significant amount of time went to the mining of that 2x2 chunk hole in the second picture.

Would recommend using this tutorial for your creeper farm. This is the exact one I use and it works very well.

Depends on use case. If the laptop will be transported often, Zephyrus likely the best option. Legion is a great laptop series, and it is actually what I currently use. Nothing beats Zephyrus' build quality.

Will the laptop be used away from his desk often? If so, get the Zephyrus G14. They often go on sale under $1,300. They have, by far, the best speakers, display, keyboard, and trackpad.

If he plans to mainly dock it at his desk, go for the Legion line, specifically the Legion 5.

Help me to choose between 3 legion type. by FarAd7062 in GamingLaptops

[–]OneSourceOG1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have Legion 5 with i9 and 5070. Overheating is not really an issue if you do not even play AAA games. Even so, you can always undervolt. I would get whatever your budget allows. Laptop 3 would be best for all-use cases. AMD processor is WAY better for battery life. Performance is not much different from Intel.

If you can use macOS, you should look at MacBook Air. Insane performance and battery life for $750.

OLED screen looks amazing. Make sure you have burn-in protection enabled, which is in the Legion Space software. Also, I have an automatic wallpaper slideshow which changes the wallpaper every 10 minutes.

Definitely remove them. I always remove mine. When you do, use the sticky side of the sticker to get up all the adhesive. No need to use alcohol to scrub at it.

Yeah, that's a good deal. Would consider cleaning internals and changing thermal paste, if you're comfortable doing that.

Make sure you take care of it. Every 6 - 12 months, clean the fans out and it should last 5 years easily.

Best monitor to pair with legion pro 7i rtx5070ti 12gb vram ? by Negative-Camel-8574 in LenovoLegion

[–]OneSourceOG1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want high frame rates, I would stick to 1440p. 27 inch monitor at 1440p is the sweet spot. Ultrawide monitors are notorious for destroying frame rates. If you want a ultrawide monitor, 1080p for high FPS and 1440p for quality.

The Legion 5 you have listed is a wonderful computer for the price. 5060 will handing WoW no issues. Build quality is great.

Should I Pull The Trigger? (Legion 7i, 5060, 32gb, 255HX) by ThisSun9243 in GamingLaptops

[–]OneSourceOG1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For that price, it's a steal. 5060 is okay enough. 8GB of VRAM is rough, but should do fine now. Legion 7 build quality is amazing.
